Half of a Whole

Chapter 6: Party Time

We continue to talk to the guy's hockey team. Eventually I make eye contact with the new kid. He walks over to me.

"Hey sexy." he smirks.

"Uhhh. Hi?"

He starts checking me out.

"Please stop eye raping me, I'd greatly appreciate it." I somewhat glare at him, but on the inside I'm quite enjoying this moment.

"Ooo feisty. Why don't we catch a movie later."

"A movie? A movie?! I just met you and I don't even know your name. Ask me when you know more about me and I know more about you. You can start by telling me your name." I cross my arms across my chest and look at him triumphantly.

He slightly rolls his eyes as he realizes he's lost the battle.

"Zach."

We check each our for a few seconds, letting our eyes course over each others body.

"I'm having the team over tonight. You should come. Your friend too." He glances at Penny who is talking to one of the hockey players that I don't recognize.

"Yah sure. We'll be there. Where do you live?"

"I can drive you guys. If that's ok with you."

"Yah that would be great."

The whole team heads to Zach's house and since a few other girls end up coming, (They probably got picked up by some of the guys after the game), a game of spin the bottle starts.

Aspen whistles to get everyone's attention. "Zach spins first."

Zach laughs and spins it. To my disappointment it lands on some snobby cheerleader brought by one of the other guys.

She leans over and quickly kisses him. Hard. He pulls away with a frown. I dot think he enjoyed that.

The game continues for a while. I never had to do anything. I was sort of relieved but I wish I could have kissed Aspen, not Zach though. He would hold that against me forever.

It's Zach's turn again except this time it lands on me.
