Chapter 5-Anna's POV
We kept walking down a long , what looked like a, hall. I could feel Charles right behind me. It made feel tense, if he would try to hug me from behind or do something else......
Charles's POV
I continued to walk behind Anna, partly because I don't want to leave her side. but mostly because I can't see the fairy any more and if we get lost, at least I'll be with her..... I know, I know super cheesy, but it's true!
Anyways, we continued down what looked like some sort of hallway of passage in the cave, I'm not sure. but then we finally found some light at the end of it. I was just so relieved!! I'm sorry but I get exhausted really fast, I know, i know I need to get some exercise or work out or something....
I had stopped to gawk at the opening and I didn't even realize that Anna wasn't next to me anymore.....I panicked!! I Called her, "Anna!!!!"
Anna's POV
As Charles stopped at the doorway, I kept going. Being the curious girl I was, am, its a good thing I'm not a cat...... you know, curiosity killed the cat...... get it?? hopefully, I'm terrible at making jokes. mostly because I've lived in a glum and full of hatred place. I be never heard anything funny in my life.
Now, enough of my terrible past and childhood, back to the present. I kept walking in, what looked like, a smaller room. it had more paintings on the walls, just not of me and Charles. they looked like other fairies, kings and queens. special fairies.
I was about to step closer to one, to get a better look when someone. or something, bumped into me.....
Charles's POV
After not hearing a response from Anna, after almost blowing my lungs out. I went after her. I stepped into the room, not really watching where I was going and I bumped into something, or someone.
Soon I after I realize it's just Anna and before I can react in any way she screams. I can't hear for a second and that's when I realize she's gone...
