Chapter 10-Anna's POV
I was watching Charles turn away when I disappeared. It felt like i had just gotten knocked out, like when you get hit in the head really badly, and you have a massive headache. but I got slammed with it all at once.
I landed with a thud on, what sounded like, a tile floor. ever since I set foot in that god forsaken 'magic cave' I've been sent from room to room, meeting fairy to fairy! it's EXAUSTING!!
"Sorry for the bad fall, especially in that dress. it's always bad your first time. normally you learn right when you start school." whoever was speaking mumbled that last part under their breath. apparently not low enough, if I heard it.
Charles's POV
I go into total blackness. I can't see a thing. I begin to panic, but I can't tell if I'm doing my panic dance or not. it's really embarrassing. but I can't help it.
I then land hard on my head on a patch of grass. from what it feels like. I try to sit up and I get an extremely painful headache. I try to open my eyes, but it just makes it worse. I begin to feel a soft powdery substance going onto my back, since I'm huddled up on the ground in a tight ball...
Anna's POV
Apparently the voice I heard was another fairy. SHOCKER! note the sarcasm. this time it was a boy fairy, named Clarence. weird name right? but who am I to judge? exactly...
He leads me to, what he explains as, the hospital. I'm a little confused as to why. he must sense my confusion, somehow, because he begins to explain " we have a little change in plans for where I was at first going to bring you. your friend that you came here with didn't have a very good landing and all." he states, like he's annoyed by it.
Wait, my friend? oh Charles. wait. what's wrong with him? I begin to frantically ask Clarence questions about what's wrong with him and stuff. he just continues to lead me through some more hallways until we stop in front of a room....
