Chapter 34- Anna's POV
A couple days after Clarence fainted...
I sit on a chair outside Clarence's hospital room while they check how long he'll be out, or asleep, as the nurse and doctor calls it. I had started to space out until Charles walked up to me and sat in the chair next to me. "He'll be fine. Don't worry yourself over it." he said, shocking me out of my guilt filled daze.
I turn my head to find myself getting lost in those sea green eyes. I felt myself leaning forward, not being able to control my body. Charles began to close his eyes, our lips were only a breath away....... when the door of the hospital room was shot open!
"Miss. your brother, errrr friend? here? ummm the doctor thinks he's going to be 'asleep' for a month-" I cut off the nurse right after that, making her jump. "WHAT!!?!"
Then I feel bad for making her flinch, "oh I'm so sorry, I know it's not your fault that he'll be out for that long..." I trail off, too embarrassed to look her in the eyes.
"It's alright sweetie. I would do the same if someone important to me was in a coma." she smiled sweetly at me then turned to walk back into the room.
Charles then tapped my shoulder, and I slowly turned to face him. He made a half smile and said, "let's get out of here.."
I just nodded and took his hand.....
