Chapter 17-Charles's POV
A bright light came into my vision. I opened my eyes and instantly regretted it. the blinding light, well, BLINDED me. I turned so the light wouldn't be in my vision and I felt a warm body next to me. I looked more closely and saw that it was Anna, in her clothes from last night. then all the memories flooded back. I guess I was out of memory free zone. you know that state you're in when you first wake up and you don't remember anything. But I like my memories more.
Anna's POV
I wake up to the sound of a shower running. what? I look around. where am I? then all of the memories come flooding back. then I think. where's Charles? and that's when he comes out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around his waist. I glance down at it and turn away, because I'm blushing. "oh I didn't know you were awake yet." he says. I just nod, keeping silent for his embarrassment.
A little while after he tells me "you can look now." I slowly turn to see him fully clothed in dark jeans and a white v-neck shirt that shows off his abs and v-line. I reach my hand out to run it over his abs but I think twice and pull it back. "it's alright. I won't mind." so with that burst of confidence I reach out and run my hand over his abs. after doing it once I pull back my hand, embarrassed. but Charles takes my hand and puts it under his shirt, over his abs. "I like it when you trace them." he responds. I giggle and continue to trace them. I look up at him to see that his eyes are closed. I lean up and kiss him on the lips.
