Chapter 23- Charles' POV
I can't stand to watch Anna in pain. after I kissed her I pulled away. I didn't want the guards to know. I glance at her face to see hurt but then understanding. She turned away with only love in her eyes. I just hope she understands that I do this only to protect her. I love her so, so much, I won't let anything bad happen to her ever again. I know it sounds cheesy but it's how I feel.
The next morning, or so I think it's morning, I'm woken up by a blinding light. "wake up." a gruff voice whispers in my ear. "Wha-" i respond. "get up. your being moved to another cell." he whisper yells.
I glance at Anna. "will she be alright?" I ask. "she'll be fine now get a move on." he responds, rather impatiently. so I follow them, with my hands behind my back. my last glimpse was of my beautiful Anna.
Anna's POV
I wake up after a good night sleep. but I see that Charles is not in his bed. I begin to panic and all that I can think to do is scream.
