Zootopia~Our Last Case

Chapter 6

~POV Judy~

The last thing I remembered was David shooting Nick in the stomach, which sent us both falling out the window. After that, it was a blur but I remember falling into the back of a truck, which was loaded with pillows. After that, the truck took off with both me and Nick in the back. The truck kept driving till I eventually fell asleep with my hand on Nick's wound. 

I awoke in a hospital bed with an IV in my arm. I looked around, my vision slightly blurry, trying to found out where I am. I saw a window but it was boarded up, "weird," I thought "Why would a hospital have boarded up windows?"

I slowly sit up, my vision completely clear, and look closer at my surroundings. It looks like I am in an abounded building. The walls are old and rotting, a single naked light bulb hangs from the ceiling, and surprisingly the floor was cleaned. I was expecting to see dead bugs and trash all over the floor.

I grabbed the IV and slowly pulled it before getting up and walking towards the door. I grabbed the doorknob but it was locked. Dammit, I thought.

I started banging on the door and saying, "Hey! Anyone out there? I need some help."

I stopped banging on the door when I heard movement on the other side. I step back as the door slowly opens revealing a maned wolf I thought I would never see, "Livvy?"

"Judy! You're awake that's good, how are you feeling?" She asked.

"Livvy, I thought you were dead, and where am I," I asked still bewildered.

"Oh, yeah. Well, I am not. I was able to get away with everybody else before the bar blew up. And you are in the underground city, the only safe place for you," Livvy said closing the door and sitting down in an old armchair.

"Wait, everybody else? I thought you all died. And what do you mean only safe place," I asked slightly worried?

"Oh yeah, you've been out for a couple days. Well, you and Nick are now wanted fugitives," Livvy said casually.

"WHAT! What do you mean wanted fugitives! We were part of the ZPD, how can we possibly be fugitives of the law, we are the law!" I exclaimed completely worried now.

"Both you are Nick were accused of selling and making Night Howler Serum. The news said that both of you planned to take over Zootopia by tagging everybody with the serum." She said.

"What! How can anybody believe that we were the ones who stopped the original serum."

"Detectives found the serum all over your's and Nicks apartments. They also said they found plans describing how you guys were going to do it."

"This is insane, I gotta tell Bogo that we were framed he will believe us, I'm sure of it," I said hopefully.

"Judy, who do you think broke the news to the people. Bogo told everybody that you both were wanted fugitives and  that he will not rest until you were found," Livvy said sadly.

I slump down on the ground and put my head in my paws and began crying before I remembered what happened to Nick, "Livvy! Is Nick alright," I said wiping away a few tears.

"He is fine, but he is still asleep. I can take you to him if you want."

"Yes, please," I said hopping up and down.

"Okay, calm down little bunny, just follow me and we'll go see your fox."

I follow Livvy out of my room and down a few rooms before coming to a room with a beaver standing by it, "Move it, Steve. Judy wants to see Nick," Livvy said to the beaver.

"The docs in there at the moment so don't mess with him while he is working," Steve said before opening the door.

Livvy and I walk into the room and immediately I see Nick laying unconscious on a white hospital bed. I run to him but before I got to him an otter stepped in front of me, "What are you doing here? I thought I told Steve to let no one in while I'm working," the otter said.

"It's fine Harold, this is Judy. The one all over the news," Livvy said walking towards the otter.

"Ah, my apologies. I did not know you were Judy. You can go and see Nick, he is stable at the moment."

"Thanks, doc," I said.

I walk over to Nick and stare at him. He has an IV in his arm and his waist is completely banged by red bandages. I lay my head on his upper chest feeling his chest rise and fall. "Dumb fox," I whisper.

"Sly bunny," I heard Nick whisper.

"Nick?"

"Hey, Carrots." he asked softly.

"Nick! Are you okay, do you hurt anywhere," I ask?

"No I am just peachy, for a guy that just got shot," he smirked.

"Oh shut up, you scared me taking that bullet, I thought you might've died," I said lowering my head.

"Ah, come on Carrots, you know I will never die on ya," he said lifting my head up.

I hug him, "Please never leave me."

"Oh, you bunnies are so emotional. Don't worry Carrots, I'll never leave you. Also, where are we?"

"We are back in the underground city, Livvy saved us," I said to him.

"Uh, Judy, I didn't save you," Livvy said.

I look at her, "If you didn't who did."

"He did," Livvy said pointing to a rabbit that just entered the room.
