Zootopia~Our Last Case

Chapter 3

"So Winters, do you have any idea who might be selling this new drug?" I asked interrupting Livvy.

"Well, I have an idea, but there's no evidence saying it's him. But the drug started popping up when he arrived a few weeks ago. You guys should look into it."

"Who is this guy?" I asked.

"Some ox by the name Felix. I've been told he is a mine one." Winters said cleaning a glass.

"Do you know where we can find this Felix guy," asked Judy.

"Yeah sure, he leaves off of 5th street in a new looking apartment building, you can't miss."

"Thank you guys for the help. We no know twice as much as we did when we first got this case and-" I was saying before the front doors were slammed opened and a mob of animals came in, all holding guns.

"I heard you were looking for my boss," a black leopard said walking to the front of the crowd.

"Nice to see you again David! How's it been," Winters said faking a smile. 

"Shut up Winters, I should shoot you for leaking information about my boss to the ZPD," he said glaring at Winters.

"Now come on David, that's no why to treat an old friend," Winters said looking at me and winking.

The second Winters winked at me I knew what he was about to do, and I didn't like it one bit.

"Winters! For the love of god shut the hell up," David said losing his temper.

"You know what? Get out of my bar. I am giving you this one chance to leave alive," Winters said glaring at David.

I saw David shifted slightly before pulling out a huge revolver, "Winters my friend, you are completely out manned and out gunned. You will be the one to not live," he said leveling his gun at Winters.

Winters put his hands up, "Okay you win David. What do you want," he said with a smirk.

"I want to, wait, why are you smirking," David said.

"Cause of this," he said pulling out a throwing knife and throwing it at David while Livvy, Orion, and Zoey all pulled out guns from underneath counter and started firing.

I grabbed Judy and jumped behind the counter as the bullets started to fly. I was handed a shotgun by Winters. I smiled before popping up and blasting the first animal in my sight. 

We were all popping up and shooting before ducking back down before we could get shot. We were thinning them down till I heard David yell something and the gunfire ceased. I poked my head up to see what happened and I saw that David and his men retreated.

"We did it! That seemed almost too easy," I said.

"Yeah, it did seem too easy," Winters said suspiciously.

"Ah who cares, we just beat David one of Felix's main general," said Livvy happily.

I suddenly heard a loud noise come from outside. I was about to go look when the doors exploded open. I was sent flying back colliding with Judy. 

"Nick! Are you alright," Judy said looking up at me.

"Yeah I'm fine how about you," I said blushing a little bit, before getting off of her.

"Yeah I'm fine. What blew open the doors?" She said dusting herself off.

"That did," Orion said pointing to a giant crocodile and a snake standing in the doorway. 

The snake was standing up straight, using its tail as makeshift legs. The snake was holding a shotgun and had a sword on it's back.  The crocodile was standing on two legs and was holding a giant machine gun. 

"Uh, who are you guys," Winters asked.

"None of your business dog," The crocodile said.

"Hey that's quite rude," Winters said.

"And so is this," the crocodile said firing his gun at Winters.

Winters tried ducking out of the way but was hit in his shoulder, stomach, and leg which sent him sprawling to the ground.

"You bastard!" Screamed Livvy running at the croc while firing her gun.

The bullets bounced off of him like they your nothing, "punny dog," he said backing handing Livvy sending her flying across the room.

Both Orion and Zoey ran at the croc trying in vain to take him out. "My turn," hissed the snake who slithered towards Orion. The snake pulled out his sword and swiped at him. Orion dodged out of the way but was cut a little bit by the blade. "That's all you got snake," he said swaying a little bit.

"Yesss, that'ss all from me, itss my posion'sss job now," the snake hissed slithering back behind the croc.

"Shit," Orion said before collapsing to the ground.

"Judy we need to go," I said grabbing her hand.

"What about the others," she asked helplessly.

"Judy they're probably dead," I said sadly.

"But Nick."

"Judy we can't fight those two, they'll kill us."

"Run you fools we'll hold them off," Winters said coughing up blood.

"But Winters."

"Just go! Take down Felix, that's all that matters now," Winters said bracing himself on a table.

Judy and I ran to the back exit while Winters and Zoey held off the reptiles. I through the door open letting Judy go first before looking back to see Winters getting stabbed by the snake's sword. His body fell to the floor his one eye still opened. I didn't know the guy but I could feel a tear start to form.

I quickly closed the door and ran to Judy who was further down the alley. I picked her up and started running as fast as I could away from the bar. That's when a huge explosion went off behind me. I looked and saw the bar being engulfed by a giant flame. 

"We need to tell Bogo as soon as possible" I yelled, before turning and running to the where we came in from.

 Already everything is going south for our favorite cop duo. And I guess the burning torch really is burning now, sorry bad joke.

But who is that David dude and who are those badass reptiles that "killed" bar owners. And who is this Felix guy? All questions will be answered soon, but not too soon!
