Chapter 9

POV~Nick

I look at myself in the mirror. I am wearing a nice suit that Winters gave to me. It's a little too big, but it doesn't bother me.

I look at the clock and see it's almost six. I grab my phone and start jogging to Judy's room.

Once I reach her door, I knock on it three times. I step back and wait for her to open the door.

The door opens revealing the most gorgeous girl in the world, Judy. She is wearing a purple dress and black heels. She looks breathtaking.

"Hi Carrots, ready for our date," I ask eyes glued to her.

"Yeah, let's go," she says.

We walk down the hotel halls till we reach the dining room. In the center of the room is a single table, with a two plates already on it.

I pull Judy's chair out for her and push her in before sitting down in mine.

"You like nice tonight Judy," I say.

"Why thank you, Nick, you like nice too."

"So, Judy, I don't know how to say this but, I care deeply about. I care for you more than any else I know," I say relieving myself.

"Oh, Nick, I care about you too, and I would love to get to know you more and maybe go on another date, but Nick, we are wanted fugitives and our friends were just killed a few days ago. Please understand, I would love to spend the rest of my life with you but we can't live happily together till we clear our name," she says sadly, "You probably hate me for saying that."

"No, Judy, I understand. We can't happily be together till we save the day. So let's go save the day so we can be together," I say.

"Nick?" Judy whispered.

"Yeah Judy," I say taking a bit of the vegetable mix.

"Can we go back to my room? I want to show you something," she says hiding her face.

"Sure Carrots, let's head back, I've already finished my plate," I say standing up to help Judy out of her chair.

We walk back to Judy's room and head inside. "So Carrots what did you want to show me," I ask.

"This," she says before grabbing my head and pulling it down to hers. She planted her lips onto mine, and I returned the kiss. We stood interlocked together for what seemed like centuries till we were knocked back into reality by a knock on the door.

Judy parted from the kiss putting her finger to her mouth seducingly. I just kneel there smiling as she walks to the door. She opens it to see Jack standing there. "Uh, hey Jack what do you need," she asks surprised to see him.

"Oh, nothing. I just wanted to inform you and Nick that there will be training tomorrow," he said emotionless.

"Yeah okay, wait! How did you know Nick was here," she asks panicking.

"Judy, I'm a trained spy. It's my job to know secrets. That and Livvy and Zoey won't shut up about you two."

"Oh, okay, well see you tomorrow for practice then," she says slowly closing the door

"Yeah, don't do anything stupid you two," he says, walking away chuckling.

Judy closes the door and looks back to me, "Where did we leave off," I say smirking.

She just laughs and jumps on top of me, "Right here."

POV~Jack

I walk into my room turning on the lights and grabbing a glass of water. I walk to my bed and lay down. I pick up my pillow and take out the hidden fox plushie, that was hidden underneath it.

"I'll always remember you. You were my life, and they took you away from me. Leaving only this, you favorite plushie. I will make them pay for what they did to you. No one takes my son and gets away," I say to myself, a tear sliding down my face.

"I am coming for Jason, no one will keep me from seeing you again."

I hug to fox tightly and begin to slowly fall asleep, my eyes full of tears.
