Chapter 14

POV~Nick

I look as Jack is sent flying back, Jim's gun smoking. I turn to shoot him but a loud thud was heard from the other side of the door.

"Looks like they let them out, such a pity. I thought they would wait," Jim said walking towards the window.

"Jim! Don't you dare do anything," I yell pointing my gun at him.

"Ah don't worry Nicky, I won't do anything but they will," he said pointing at the door.

The door broke open showing a wolf and a very familiar buffalo.

"Bogo," Judy cried?

"Not anymore bunny, that is savage Bogo. An improvement if do say so myself," Jim smiles.

"Jim, shut the hell up before I kill you," I yell irritable.

"Nick, we don't have time to argue we have to go. Livvy Winters get Jack. And Jim, I swear to god if you move, wait, where the hell did he go," Judy yells looking around for Jim.

"Judy that not important right now, we'll find him later. Everybody to the window," I yelled.

We all ran over to the window. I look to the left and my right and saw no way out.

"Uh, Judy. You know when we were in your apartment and you know, shot out the window," I say weakly.

"This is gonna suck," Judy says turning to the window. She shoots out the glass and jumps out.

"Everybody go," I yell grabbing Jack and jumping out of the window.

Luckily for us, we are only on the second floor so we didn't have far to fall. I flipped midair to protect Jack from the fall.

I landed in a bush, luckily, and rolled off of it still holding onto Jack. "Everybody okay," I yell. looking around.

"We are good," Judy yells.

"Okay let's move, before those things come after us," I yell carrying Jack towards one of our cars.

"Where are we heading," yells Winters loading his rifle.

"We are heading to meet with Harold and Steve since plan A failed we have to try plan B," I yell putting Jack in the car.

"Got it, Livvy Zoey Orion, get in the car. I'll cover you guys," Winters says climbing on top on the car.

They all jump in the car ready to go,"Winters, get in the car," Livvy yells starting the car.

"Fine, no heroic sacrifice for me then," he says jumping down through the sunroof.

"Okay, let's get the hell out of her before-" city hall's doors blows open revealing a horde of savage animals,"that. Puch it, Judy," I yell.

Judy slammed on the gas and peels out. Livvy was right behind us and right behind her was the giant horde of animals.

I call Winters over radio,"Hey uh, could you shoot some of those savages that are chasing us," I ask sarcastically.

"Don't worry fox I got this," he says poking his head out of the sunroof and aiming his rifle at the savage animals.

"Judy, how far till we get to Harold and Steve?" I ask.

"A few minutes at the most, go check on Jack see if he's you know dead," she choked.

I pat Judy on the back before jumping in the back and checking Jack's pulse. I smile,"He lives to see another day," I say to Judy.

She smiles and turns back to the road.

"Come on Jack wake up," I say hitting him on the face.

Jack's hand suddenly shoots up and hits me in the face. I grab my nose,"Ah Jack, what the hell."

"Shit, sorry Nick. What happened."

"You got shot, we jumped out a window and now in a high-speed chase. So the usually," I say smirking.

"Nick, your smirk makes me want to shoot you," he grumbles.

"Yeah, Jack's fine," I smile.

Jack leans back,"Where are we going," he asks.

"We are heading to meet up with Harold and Steve on that building," Judy trails off.

"Whats wrong Judy, oh that's what happened," I say looking up at the building that they are supposed to be on in flames.

"Well plan C," I say sadly.
