Third Person point of view
It was like every wound up string of tissue in his heart snapped at once. That desperate hope – that if he just endured the night he could save the person he loved – was gone, leaving his mind to shatter in the face of his brother sat bound in tight ropes that glowed against his supernatural figure. He couldn't lift his head but he sensed his twin's distress, fighting against the ropes. All Taehyung could do was stare, palm once pressed to his wounded chest now laying limp by his side to let the blood flow free.
"You can't do this...." He managed to whisper, twisting his necklace, wanting to tighten the rope to seal his fate and make this all end. If he did... it would only result in more deaths. It was the ultimate checkmate and Taehyung could not see any way to bargain out of it. He didn't even register the fingers tracing his nape, the shivering stillness of fine hairs the only sign that his body was uncomfortable with Sungjoon's tantalising touch.
"But darling, I just did." Murmured Sungjoon against his ear, pressing a kiss to the skin and exhaling slowly to send a rush through Taehyung's body. He smirked with a smug victory, seeing Taehyung stare in absolute horror. He rejoiced in the trembling body beneath his fingertips and soared at the tears that drenched his cheeks into a bloody mess.
Taehyung wanted to scream in agony at the excruciating sensation that was swelling in his chest. Each breath came out ragged, like broken glass was being inhaled and exhaled. His throat was aching from his silent cries that he couldn't verbalise.
"No no no no no no no! Please!" He cried in a panic, head whipping around to fall at Sungjoon's feet, sobbing into the sand as he tried grasping for the maniac's shoes only to be kicked back. "Don't do this! Why would you do this?! What did I do to deserve this?!" He screamed like he was being burnt alive, feeling every flame tear apart his skin until all that remained was the fallen pieces of his heart wilting under the heat of revenge.
"We've been over this, or have you forgotten?" Snivelled the victorious man, gleaming with the resulting pleads he had ached to hear.
"P- please.... Kill me, I don't care! Punish me! Don't kill them!" Sungjoon only cackled with a manic glee, stepping passed the begging and walking over to Yugyeom to remove the boy's hands from his head. Taehyung watched as the two figures who had once been paralysed fell forward. Daehyun only just managed to catch himself in the fall, Jungkook did not, falling to the sand with his whole body limp. Taehyung watched Daehyun even in his weak state manage to get himself up off the ground. Instead of running over to his brother he immediately ran to Jungkook, lifting him slowly and wiping sand away from his eyes. Taehyung could clearly see his lover crying as he turned to sob into Daehyun's shoulder. Every muscle in his love's body was tightened under tortured pain, but more evident was the anguish of his emotional toll.
Taehyung did nothing but watch the two people that meant the world to him comfort eachother, his own body numbed of anything physical. Now only his mind was to blame for his slow death.

"Taehyung..." The delicate grip that touched his arm felt like fire and he shook it off in a panic, curling up tighter into the weakness left in his limbs. The touch was so missed and so needed but Taehyung was scared to let his brother in, afraid of the consequences that were destined to tear them apart again. "Please." Daehyun whispered, not letting up on his insistence to pull his brother into a loose embrace. Tears were already falling down Taehyung's cheeks as he shook his head violently.
"Get away from... I can't–"
"No." Replied Daehyun firmly, pulling on his brother's chin with a stern tenderness until they were finally seeing eye to eye. There was a fragmented defeat in the blurred haze of Taehyung's eyes, it brought Daehyun to tears as he pulled the boy in tighter. "Listen to me, please."
