Third Person point of view

Taehyung stared at the calm scenery in front of him. A beautiful beach stretched beyond what his eye's could process, the water glistening and shining under the starry and moonlit sky. There was a stillness in the quiet of the world, every living creatures hidden away to draw all the focus to the natural beauty of the ocean. The place looked like the very aphros that his mother had emerged from, an ocean that created his origin. It was a beautiful sight, Taehyung could stare for eons. It was so mesmerising the way silver flecks of stars danced across the water in a waltze of rippling motion. The place was physically drawing him to it, unable to control each of his steps closer, movement filling his shoes with the white pale sand that felt like silk beneath his feet.

As Taehyung made his way to the tidal strip of beauty he could feel the wind picking up and the dim light coming from the moon begin to fade. The drastic shift in the energy of the space drew his attention as he looked up to see a sinister haze of black begin to envelope the once beautiful sky. His golden hair whipped his face and tore at his clothes trying to drag him down. Sand spun around him like a hurricane of sharp needles, piercing his skin with pain. Waves emerged from the sea, shattering on the beach with booming crashes that drowned out anything else.

Though he was instantly distracted by the violent shift to the unexpected weather and the afflicted pain when four silhouetted figures came into his view. Two sitting, two standing. They were a over a hundred metres away, Taehyung's eyes squinting through the sandstorm as he stumbled towards them, trying to make out their faces. They were completely shrouded so he had no hope in doing so.

"Who are you?" Taehyung called out, his voice being carried away by the wind. Though he didn't need an answer when a blood curdling scream overtook every other sound. The voice tore through his insides like an electric shock, a sheer pain felt in the recklessness that must've been tearing apart the person's vocal chords. The one who was screaming staggered to their feet from the ground. They stumbled forward until they were face-to-face with Taehyung, all of their features were still completely bedimmed, and no matter how much he strained, Taehyung couldn't make out any of their face. The figure clawed a grip around his arm, their hands ice cold as their nails sunk into the blonde's pale skin. Blood spilled over his skin, gushing from the wounds made by sharp pleading nails.

"Please..." The person spoke and Taehyung's ears began to ring with the startling recognition of that voice. Even if he were drowned of all his senses, he would always be able to identify Jungkook's enchanting voice that rang so loud and clear like a symphony of harmonised string instruments. Without seeing Jungkook's face Taehyung could feel his despair and pain, bloody hands shifting to tear at Taehyung's shirt and hold him close. "You know where I am, be here, please." His tone was dripping with anguish, tears dropping down to Taehyung's arms where they stood in their unbreakable bond. It terrified him the way Jungkook's body felt weighted with decay, like a shadow of himself losing what was left of his mindscape.  Taehyung was so scared to lose him, pulling closer only for Jungkook to shudder away. "Or I'll die..." his shadow's voice felt raspy and faint like he was slowly slipping away.

Then he was torn away by another shadow, and Taehyung watched in horror as the second, much more malicious, figure ran a dagger right through Jungkook's chest, the blade dripping with his blood as he coughed and cried into the darkness. It paralysed Taehyung in his fear, watching the death of his love he'd spent so long trying to find again. "Don't leave me again." Were the last words this shadow of his lover spoke before crumbling to sand and being torn away in the restless winds, leaving three remaining in the darkness.

__

Taehyung woke in a pool of sweat, his face and body drenched in his own restlessness and drowning in his laboured breaths. The nightmare was still clear as anything in his mind like it was repeating over and over. He didn't know how to react to the event that had just played through his imagination. What did it mean? What was the purpose of him dreaming such a thing? Unless it wasn't a dream. Taehyung believed in spirits, he obviously believed in gods since his mother was one so anything was quite possible. It could have been a message from one of them. But it didn't make sense why a messenger of higher power would try to reach out and direct him to Jungkook's location - a beach not far from here where he'd be in the dead of night.
