Title from Bubbly by Colbie Caillat :*

-

Calum sighs, dropping his controller onto his lap. They were on Michael's bed in his man cave, lazy on a Sunday, while their parents were at church.

Usually the boys would have to go, but they (secretly happily) get out of it when they spend the night with each other- everyone knows they stay up way late and would need sleep.

Michael follows, not even saving the game (they've played it hundreds of times) before switching off the Xbox.

He plops down next to Calum, also sighing and holding his head in his hands.

Both boys turn to lock eyes and it's not really fair to either of them that they are more than infatuated with the other (have been since they met, really).

"I'm so bored," Michael says with half-lidded eyes.

Calum hums in agreement, yawning. "What do we do?"

The green-eyed boy shrugs, "Watch a movie?"

"Sure," Calum shrugs in response. "Which one?"

Michael wonders what he's in the mood for. He's in the mood for Calum.

"Uh, Terminator," he replies, used to the comments his thoughts seem to enjoy screaming at him.

"Okay," Calum stands up, finding the dvd and setting the player up. Usually they would argue about who puts it in (wink wonk) but Calum just doesn't have the motivation.

They settle down on the couch together, cuddling closer than their parents would deem platonic.

But who cares? They're gone all day anyway.

So the two cuddle however the fuck they want, because no one can tell them they can't.

After the first movie, Michael complains about wanting to go get food.

"Alright," Calum sighs, picking Michael up bridal style and taking him to the kitchen.

Michael rolls his eyes but blushes at their closeness. "Hey, Calum."

Calum sets the smaller boy down to grab some ramen noodles from the cupboard. "Yeah?"

"Wanna make out?"

Calum spins around so quickly that he falls backwards, but quickly scrambles back up. "Uh, are you serious?" he asks genuinely, not wanting to make a fool of himself if Michael was joking.

Michael bites his lip and nods.

"Holy shit, yes," Calum says, his face lighting up. The ravenette swoops Michael back up into his arms, this time so they're facing each other. He sets the red-haired boy on the counter, standing between his legs.

Michael giggles softly and wraps his arms around his best friend's neck, wondering who will make the first move.

"A-are you comfortable?" Calum questions in a whisper, bringing his forehead to rest against Michael's.
