Katelyn______
After an eventful and teary yesterday, I was finally back at school. I kept my promise to Michael and said that if anything was to happen I had to find him immediately, even if that meant storming out of class which I had no problem about. He told me his schedule and wrote it on my arm to remember - he also wrote Michael is the greatest and Luke smells. I sat with Luna and semi recapped to her all that had happened - leaving out the suicidal part - and telling her that if needs be she would have to find my brother if anything got bad. Thankfully she was cool with it.
"So, Luke is going to be your adoptive brother. Does that mean I would be seeing him a lot more?"
"Yup, work on that accent thing. He'll start to be suspicious."
"I can't elp it!" She whines in Scottish. I roll my eyes and laugh as we take our seats in math. (Meth)
"Alright. Linear equations. Who knows about them?" And that's my cue to zone out. Once morning tea rolls around I ask Luna where she wants to sit.
"I don't know! Why are you putting that kind of pressure on me?! Jk, let's go sit with your brother."
"So you can check out Luke, huh?" I say while shrugging my shoulders repeatedly.
"Uhh, I swear. If you tell him that I have a tiny wee crush on him, I will end you. I am a black belt in martial arts."
"I know, you nearly broke my arm when I said I didn't believe you." We walk into the cafeteria and spot the 'bros' as Luna calls them now. We walk over to them and Michael speaks up when we are in ear shot.
"You guys joining us?"
"If you don't mind." Is my reply.
"Of course not." Calum exclaims. Two seats are free at the table of six. One between Luke and Michael and the other between Ashton and Calum. I quickly take the one between Ash and Cal and Luna gives me the evils before taking the seat. I just smirk a response.
"Man, ditched by your own sister. That's just cold." Luke laughs. Luna blushes when he stretches his arm around her to pat Michael's back. This is the funniest thing I have ever accomplished.
"All right losers. Listen up," Calum starts. "First football game (soccer) is on tomorrow after school against the city central retards. I, as of this moment, am currently on the bench. I would like it if you guys could be there for the first game because I impressed during training and tryouts and may have a chance at playing. My parents are watching, and they never do, and I would appreciate you guys too. That includes you two, Katelyn and Luna."
"I didn't realize you played footbowl." Luna's Californian accent rings out. I have to conceal my laughter.
"And I didn't realise you are from Cali?" Ash questions. Luna clears her throat before responding.
"Uhh, just a drama thing. I want this part of a spy and she speaks in many accents so, uhh, yeah." She looks at the table. "But I wouldn't mind watching your football game. Even though football isn't really my thing."
"Don't worry, you wont be doing much. But if I go on, just cheer. I've been training for so long to prove I can do something other than fail school."
"Mate, of course we'll be there." Ash says. Luke looks at me, tilts his head, before responding.
"I think Mum wouldn't mind Katelyn out there watching you play." I grin at his words and fist pump.
"It's settled then. We're watching a football game tomorrow." Michael says. Calum's smiling from ear to ear and is beyond happy. I decide to make this even more entertaining.
"Luke? How long's your arm span?"
"Why do you want to know?" Michael questions.
"Because in science, I learnt that taller people have a longer arm span. Can you just stretch your arms out? I wanna see if you have a massive arm span." Luna just stares at me with a look of murder. Luke leans back a bit before stretching his arms behind Luna and Calum.
"Sorry." Luke apologises when he runs his arm against Luna. She's trying her best to not blush and squeal. His arms reach to both the middle of Calum and Michael's backs.
'Hmm," I comment. "Impressive." Ash just laughs. Luna mouths 'I hate you' really discreetly as Luke pulls his arms back in. The rest of lunch contains evil eyes, hidden laughter and measuring of arm spans.

First half had already come and gone as we sat bored watching the football game. The score was 2-1 to the central city guys and Calum hadn't gone on yet. His parents were next to us as well as Luke's parents. They had put all their reserves on at some point except for Calum. He had taken out his piercings for this, surely they should let him on.
"Do you reckon he would be put on?" Luna says to no one in general.
"I hope so. I saw him warming up. He is a decent player." His mum comments.
Then IT happened. A player started cramping up mid way through the second half. The main striker, captain and star of the football team - Brice Eyelin. The coach was furious, that's when Calum got his chance. He was chucked onto the field as Brice was carried off. We all started going nuts and cheering like we promised. Calum looked at us, pulled a thumbs up, before running to his position up front.
"That's my son! My son is on the field!" His dad yells.
Calum played the most impressive game of football anyone in our school as ever seen. The boy with the tattooed body scored at hat trick causing the end result to be an amazing 4-2 to us. No one saw his goals coming. The boys were trying their best to not pass to Calum, but once he successfully slide tackled the opposition and scored off that ball, the all loved him.
Once the game was over and hand shaking done, Luna and I ran down to the field. Calum turned to see us bouncing over to him and engulf him in a hug. We was announced player of the day and we were both screaming and complimenting his playing skills. He had an arm around each of us when his parents came over. They congratulated him and smiled. The 'bros' then immediately joined in the group hug and Luna started trying to leave when I pulled her back in. We were all smiling and cheering for the sweaty, muddy football standing in the middle of the hug.
Once he changed and showered, we all went out for ice cream. We marveled about the game and saying how good of a player Calum was. He was being humble and blushing half the time. It was cute.
