Injured and Not Alone.

Drip.
Drip.
Drop.

The trickling of my blood continues. Slowly, but definitely making its way down from some cut on my body. There's pain almost everywhere, so I can't quite tell where the injury actually is. I want to scream a curse word at the top of my lungs right now but that would be the stupidest damn idea ever.
"Faen" I whisper a swear in Norwegian. I try to push myself up but the intense pain shooting through my body and the shakiness in my arms say otherwise. I let out a small groan as I settle myself back into the hanging position and try to think of a way out of this, but my train of though doesn't last long when I hear...
Creak.
Silence.
Creaaak.

Oh no. Footsteps. Someone... Or something has found me. ~Creak~ ~Creak~ with every creaky step, the person gets closer until finally I see a shadow in the dark doorway. It's too dark to make out any features besides that whoever this is, they're tall and not a zombie.
I don't even try to hide myself because unless they were blind, they know I'm here. I mean, my leg is literally hanging from the ceiling downstairs.
They slowly come up to me. I still can't make out any features but their hair looks sort of spiky. I wonder how much of me they can see. It's not like they're studying me or anything. I feel my heart rate picking up as they walk behind me. I'm so scared that I tense up and can't move. Suddenly everything goes completely dark as they slam something into the back of my head and knock me out.

I'm not completely K.O.'d because I can feel them lifting me up, out of the floor. They carry me bridal-style down the two sets of stairs and lay me down on the first floors dirty ground. I think they're shining a flashlight or something on my face because I can see a red tint in my eyelids. I hear a small gasp before I'm out completely.
