"We have to run." Denmark said as quietly as possible. I already knew that, the fact was if I could or not; but before I had time to react, we heard footsteps and energetic voices coming towards us, and Denmark picked me up by the back of my jacket and pushed me forward.
"There's a back door. Run!" He warned. I started running, to the best of my ability, to the back of the house. I assumed Denmark was grabbing our supplies or defending us with the few bullets we had.
When I saw the door that was cracked open slightly, I hit my shoulder to it and ran outside. I wasn't paying attention enough to see that the house was on a hill. The side of it was fairly steep and I slipped. I had control over where I was falling for the most part, but halfway down I lost it and started rolling. I hit a rock at the bottom and was pretty winded, but when leaves shot up next to me from a bullet, I took all of my will power and adrenaline to get up and start running. There was nothing but neatly placed houses and debris, so I had to snake my way around the narrow alleyways.
I heard voices shouting behind me. Something in inaudible German. I didn't know where Mathias was, but I couldn't stop to look. I was going fairly slow as it is, and if I stopped for that silly reason I'd probably be killed. I was tripping over rocks and my own two feet trying to get away from, what I guessed to be, three rebels. I was outnumbered and outgunned. The only weapon I had was a dagger being held by my belt.
Along with avoiding chasers, I had to watch out for infected. They looked like humans because the infection mainly only took over the functions of the body and internal organs. You only physically changed if you had been infected for a long time. I saw a tall shadow on the far end of the alley I was in, so I slowed down and turned into the way on my right. Unfortunately, one of the rebels who were pursuing me turned the same corner on the other side. I pulled my dagger out of reflex when I was about to run into him. I lashed out just as we collided. It struck somewhere on his body, and I pulled the dagger down and towards me. He screamed out as he fell to the ground and I kept going. Nearly tripping over him. My energy and luck was running out and I needed to get to safety soon. I ran left, and it lead me out into the middle of a wide street. I heard quick footsteps, and was pushed down before I could react. I prepared myself for a gun to the head.
Boom. Gunshot... 'Am I dead?' I thought to myself. 'I didn't feel anything...' that's when I realized the bullet wasn't aimed at me.
Followed after my thoughts, I heard a thump as a body fell to the ground. My heart rate started going faster as I thought deep in my mind of who might be behind me. I slowly turned and saw a very tall man in a very dirty trench coat. Someone stepped in front of me, and pulled me up gently.
Definitely not an enemy, unless they weren't trying to kill me. I heard a scream from a woman, and Danish cursing followed it. I figured the woman was one of the rebels, and the other was that stupid Dane who I gave my heart to. I killed one, or at least wounded him. Denmark killed another, and the third was dead on the ground behind me. Killed by...
"Uncle Lukas!" A child's voice whisper yelled. 'Peter...?' I thought. I was too tired to really speak.
"Peter, keep it down." I heard another voice. Though it was quiet, I could still hear the trace of a Finnish accent from the voice that came from who was holding me up.
"N'rge. 'Re ya' ok'y?" ... Sweden..? I couldn't believe it. Either they came back, or this is just a strange coincidence.
"Lukas!" The Dane quietly yelled as he exited the alley. Only to be cut off by his own surprise when he saw the tall figure of a man who almost killed him. "Sweden..."

Ooh~ another cliffhanger.
I'm gonna try to wrap this thing up in another two or three chapters. Unless any of you have any ideas for me to keep this longer. I'm not sure if I'll write any more Dennor (or hetalia) stories, but this will not be the only thing I write.

That's all I have to say for now. I'm not sure when you should expect the next chapter!
