The Sun Is Going Down.

The morning was slow. The walking was slow. The conversation was slow. Time went by at a snails pace.
1 second.
1 minute.
1 hour.
1 day.
1 week.
Damn week trip took forever. Dragging out for the longest time. During the week, we saw a few distant infected. Not close enough for me to be able to see what they look like. A few other travelers that we conversed with. Trading notes and information. Scavenged a few bullets for Den. A sharper, longer blade for me. This one may actually be effective. Few rations here and there. We were low on food, but not terribly. Either way, it's not like starvation would kill us.
After the week was coming to an end, we found another one of those government protected district things around Munich, Germany. And of course, we weren't welcome to the people living inside. The sun was going down, this meant we had to get to shelter. And fast. It was getting colder by the second. Neither of us were paying attention when footsteps walked up behind us from the bushes. Then a rustling of movement.
      Bam. Mathias fell.
