'Where are we going'
A boy to my left. A boy to my right.
The lush field spreads out in front of me again with the thick forest nearing.
"Lukas~"
"Boys~"
That voice again. So familiar yet so strange.
I enter the forest. Jumping, ducking, slipping, turning. Cuts on my arms and face from whipping branches then I fall. Rolling down the damp ground. 'Mathias? Tino? What are they doing here' I think as the two young children carefully scale the steep hill I just fell down. We run. Cliff. Boat. Voice. Large white sails. A flag is being flown. What country is that? 'I-'
"Wake up!"
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-"Mmmh..." I reluctantly wake up. I feel pressure on my side and chest. My eyes clear up and I realize that an arm is laying over my chest. I turn my head to see that it's Denmark.
Typical.
I kiss his motionless forehead, and scan as much as the room as I can see with out getting up. I wonder where Finny went? Scavenging, maybe?
-jolt- I suck in a quick, pained breath as I feel intense pain go through the right side of my body; where the cut(s) and bruises of falling through a rotted, wooden floor lay on my skin.
I feel Den's hand tense as he wakes.
"Are ya okay, Norge?" He asks me, sounding half-asleep.
"...yeah." I say in slow response.
"Tino went out for a bit. He said he'd be back in a few hours."
"Hm... okay..."
We fade back into motionless silence for what seems like an eternity. Occasionally picking up small conversation. Cuddling a bit, with breaks for my swollen, cut leg. Eventually Fin returns.
F: "Hey, guys. How ya doin?"
N: "do you really need to ask that?"
D: "..."
F: "...If ya want to make it to Svergie, then we should leave soon..."
D: "yeah..."Den gets up and helps me up too. We get our jackets and gear.
'Icey, hang on lille bror... I'm on my way...'
Tino packs up a few items from his place, including food rations, water bottles, batteries, and a flashlight and we head out.
