Chapter seven

LILYS POV

I stared at Draco afraid
" What do you want to talk about?"
Draco leaned in to me and whispered in my ear, my eyes shot open, when he leaned in close my face he put his finger to my lips.
" Don't tell anybody"
I nodded and I haven't since, I never told anybody what Draco said to me that day because it turned my life upside down. I'm now in my fourth year of school and we're all going to a quiddtich match with the Weasley's.

I got to Mr. Weasley's house the same time as Hermione and I smiled and hugged her.
" Lily it's been so long"
" I missed you so much"
" I missed you too"
We walked inside together and was greeted by Mrs. Weasley
" Hermione, Lily you both look beautiful"
" Thank you Mrs. Weasley you look really pretty as well" I smiled
" Oh your too kind, if you wouldn't mind doing me a favour, could you two go and wake those boys up for breakfast"
" Not a problem"

We walked into the room to see Harry and Ron asleep, I giggled and bounced on Harry
" Harry wake up "
Harry's eyes shot open in surprise
" Lily don't do that you scared me, when did you get here?"
" Just now"
" Ronald wake up!" Hermione shouted
Ron woke up and pulled the blanket up to his chin
" Your mother said breakfast is ready"
I got off of Harry and walked out of the room. Ron didn't wake up for a while so we had to hurry to be in time for the match.

I walked beside Hermione and Ginny and we walked until we met a man standing under a tree, Mr. Weasley was speaking with him when Cedric jumped out of the tree. He greeted Mr. Weasley and looked at everyone, I don't know if I imagined this but Cedric's eyes looked at me and he smiled. I blushed a little and looked away embarrassed.
" Come on children you don't want to be late!"
We started to walk again when Cedric walked over to me.
" Mind if I walk with you?"

" Not at all" I smiled
" Your Lily, right?"
" Yeah and your Cedric?" I teased
He smiled at me and chuckled
" Very funny, is this your first time at a proper match?"
" Yeah, I'm kind of nervous and excited"
" Don't be nervous"
" Why not?"
" Because I'm here for you" I smiled
I couldn't help but blush at what he said. We talked for the whole walk then when we reached the portal key we held on to it in silence. When we arrived at the tents Cedric and his father were walking away until he turned to me
" If you don't mind I'd really like to walk with you to the match" he sounded embarrassed
" Id like that" I smiled, he had a big smile on his face when he walked away.

I walked into our tent and was greeted with grins from Fred and George
" What?" I asked
" Cedric likes you" they teased
" No he does not"
" Lily it's obvious he's never been like that towards girls before, you know that"
" Oh shut up, why would Cedric like a girl like Lily" Ron said
I looked at him hurt, and everyone else looked at him with wide eyes. I turned around and walked out of the tent up to the top of the hill, I sat there and thought about what Ron said, then what Draco said, he's right why would he like someone like me.

I began to cry when I felt someone sit beside me
" Lily please don't cry"
I looked to see Harry staring at me with sad eyes
" Ron didn't mean what he said, you know how much of an idiot he is"
" He's right why would Cedric like someone like me, why would anybody like me"
" Because your beautiful"
I turned at Harry surprised
" Your smart, your kind, funny, put people before yourself, your the best type of girl Lily, anybody would be lucky to have you" Harry stared into my eyes

" Do you really mean that Harry?"
" I do"
Harry never broke his eye contact with me and he slowly got closer to me, our lips were only inches from each other when someone coughed abs we turned our heads to see Ron standing in from of us.
" It's uh time to go to the match" he said awkwardly
" Oh right, thanks Harry for the things you said"
" Anytime"
I hugged Harry and he put his arms around me. I pulled away and walked past Ron when he called me
" Lily I'm sorry about what I said"
" It's fine"
I continued walking until I was back at the tent with everyone, Cedric walked over and smiled at me
" Hello Lily"
" Hi Cedric"

He put his hand out to me
" Shall we?"
I took his hand and nodded. Everyone was looking at us smiling and I got really embarrassed. We walked to the match and walked up a bunch of stairs.
" Dad how much longer?" Ron whined
" Put it this way, if it rains you'll be the first to know"
We looked down to see my father and Draco looking at us.
" Father and I are in the ministers box"
" Draco" my father growled
" Lily are you sure you don't want to sit with us?" Father smiled
" I'm use father, I'd like to be with my friends"
" That's fine, be careful"
"I will"
We turned to walk away when father caught Harry's sleeve with his cane
" And you stay away from my daughter" he glared
" I seen your little move on her on the hill, do it again and I swear you'll be sorry". Father let Harry go and we all walked to our seats.

HARRYS POV
"Harry what did Lily's father mean?" Fred asked
" It was nothing just a misunderstanding"
" Misunderstanding? You were going to kiss her" Ron squealed
" What?" Hermione's head turned
" He was calling her beautiful and went in to kiss her"
" Harry your her friend why would you try to kiss her?" Ginny said
" It's obvious isn't it, he likes her" Hermione said

" I do not "
" Harry I know the way you look at her, how happy she makes you, you like her so I wouldn't waste a chance"
" Hermione it's not the simple"
" How is it not?"
" Even if I liked her, she doesn't like me"
" She does" Hermione said
" What?" Harry said looking at Hermione
" She told in second year that she likes you, Harry id go after her before someone else does"
" What do you mean?"
" Mate look at her with Cedric, you bloke hasn't left her alone, it's obvious he likes her too" Ron said
" Harry go after her before you lose her to Cedric"
As the game started I looked at Lily who was standing beside Cedric, she was smiling her beautiful smile enjoying the game. Cedric smiled too but it was to her, not to the game, he slowly put his arm around her waist and pulled her in closer.

I felt an anger burn up inside me, I've never felt like this before. Lily why are you making me crazy?

LILYS POV
When the game was over we walked back to our tent, Cedric kissed my hand and said goodbye, maybe I should date him Harrys never made a move on me so I'll go for Cedric.
I was talking to Ginny and Hermione inside and noticed Harry looked sad and kept glancing at me.
We heard a huge noise outside and Mr. Weasley went outside to see what it was.

" Sounds like the Irish have got their groove on"
" Stop! It's not the Irish we have to leave. Fred, George your in charge of protecting Ginny, everyone go go go".
Everyone was running until I was pushed on the ground, Harry ran towards me and tried to pick me up but we were stepped on and kicked in the head and left there unconscious.
When I woke up Harry was looking at someone, I stood beside him and saw the man sticking his wand in the air.

I looked up to see his mark, Voldemort's mark, as I looked at it I felt something hurting my arm.
Harry looked at me and jumped
" Lily, Lily are you ok?"
" He's returning, he's coming back to finish his work" I snapped my head towards Harry
" Lily your eyes are black"
" He's coming back for you, and he's coming back for me"
" Why would he come back for you?"
" I am his -"
" Harry, Lily"
I blinked and looked at Harry, I realised what I said abs cried.

Ron, Hermione and Cedric ran over to us
" Harry, Lily are you ok!" Hermione asked
" We're fine"
" Stop right there!"
A bunch of men surrounded us and pointed their wands at us
" Stop that is my son"
" Arthur"
" There was a man over there" Harry said and everyone ran over to look for him.

A few days later we were on the train to Hogwarts, Harry, Ron and Hermione were sitting down relaxed talking, I was thinking about what Draco said and decided it was time to tell them.
" Guys" I said
They all looked at me
" I have something to tell you and you can't tell anyone"
" Of course, whatever you say to us, we'll keep it to ourselves" Hermione said and the boys nodded, I closed and locked the door and closed the curtains.

I sat down and took a deep breath in
" Lily whatever your going to tell us, it can't be that bad" Ron said
I looked at them
" I'm not a Malfoy"
" What do you mean your not a Malfoy, your fathers Lucius Malfoy" Harry said
" No he's not, they took me in because my real father asked them too"
" If your not a Malfoy, then what are you?" Ron asked
" I'm a Riddle"
Harry and Hermione's eyes shot open
" No you can't be, it's impossible " Hermione gasped
" Who's Riddle?" Ron said stupidity
" Riddle is Voldemort's real name" Harry said

Ron stared at me
" My name is Lily Riddle, my father is Tom Riddle AKA Voldemort " I said.
