{'Shoot or die' by August Alsina}
April Alexis Alsina: Sunday 28th July:
I exhaled through my nostrils lightly as Devin's thumb swiped over my stomach repeatedly. We'd already been to the doctors and they'd clarified that I was pregnant and said that so far everything was fine regarding my pregnancy but it's still too early to tell.
Devin and I were just cuddled up in bed. We'd both had long and tiring days at work and only really wanted each other's company at the moment.
"--But get this babe, the botched bitch had the nerve to tell me that I'm the scammer for charging those prices for the three course five star meals she ordered... for herself. I was like bitch, I don't makeup the prices for your food, so unless you've got a problem with what you ate then step out the restaurant. So she left then she came back with some guy and they were both like, 'we wanna talk to the owner'."
"Wait, so the woman went through all of this hassle because she couldn't afford a three course meal that she ordered and ate?" Devin asked and I nodded.
"Exactly, and the price was there in big. If she knew she ain't have the mula, bitch shoulda gone to McDonalds." I said as we chuckled.
"Y'all called the police?" Devin asked and I nodded.
"Yeah because she was refusing to pay. I offered to beat the cash out of her personally, but my white ass colleagues were like 'just let the authorities deal with it'." I said as we laughed at how I mimicked my colleagues tone.
"Ohh, speaking of cash... I almost forgot to tell you who Tyrone and I saw at the strip club that time." Devin began as I rose and eyebrow.
"We saw Princess, she--"
"Holl'up! Princess as in my sister, Princess?" I asked and he nodded.
"I tried to tell you on the night I came back but you wasn't tryna hear me. But anyways, I think she works there 'cause she was damn sure dressed like a stripper. And I think she's still got a thing for Tyrone. But that ain't even the important part--, I think that she trying to telling Ty that they mistreat her there and she needs help, Ty assumed that she was lying to get back with him and wanted to leave the club on that note." Devin said and I frowned with squinted eyes.
"Which strip club was it?" I asked.
"BANDZ. I don't know if she works there or if she was there due to another reason but she might actually be in trouble... I'on know though." Devin said as I swiped my phone up from the bedside table and headed straight to my dad's contact.
He'd been looking for her for the past three years and I know that this information would benefit him immensely somehow.
I rang his phone but it cut off quickly. I rang again and received the same ending.
