24. First Kiss

(An event that happened before you started dating Noctis)

"Still not eating your vegetables, your highness?" Nyx sighed as everyone was hanging at the food court where Nyx, Crowe and Libertus hung out.

"Oh buzz off," Noctis frowned as he ate a cheese burger.

"You know prince Noctis if you don't eat your veggies your gonna be short then all of us!" Nyx argue back, making the young prince sent a glare to the glaive. You tried to break off the fight but it wasn't working until Gladio jumped and punch their heads. Knocking some sense to them as they bit held their injure heads.

"Just enjoy your meal guys," Gladio said with a smirk as he sat back down. He notice that you haven't order anything, "Aren't you gonna eat something (Y/N)?" He asked.

"You should eat (Y/N)." Ignis said.

"Yah you don't want to have an empty stomach when we go back home," Prompto said as he eat his food.

"Actually prince Noctis just gave me some of his French fries so no worries Gladdy," you smiled and Noctis quickly avoided eye contact with you.

"Why do you call me by my royalty name while you call everyone by their nicknames that you gave them...?" Noctis mumbled.

"Eh? B-but... I can't disrespect you since your a prince..." You mumbled as well.

"I like you to call me by my name for now on..." Noctis blushed as you also blushed back.

"Ok... N-noc...t-tis," you stuttered barely managed to finish saying his name.

"Yea... if you want.. you can call me Noct... but only you," Noctis smiled.

"Thanks... Noct..." You blushed as your heart was beating uncontrollably fast but then Gladio came and put his big muscle arm around you.

"Heyyy!! Your starting to call this little brat by his name!" Gladio smirked.

"Yes. That's one step closer, isn't it?" Ignis smiled a bit. Nyx laughed as he drinks his beer.

"What do you mean Ignis?" You asked in confusion.

"Well you see, (Y/N)-chan! Noct has always been in--!!!" Prompto was about to reply but Noctis punched his gut causing him to yelp in pain.

"Uhh...you ok?" You asked as Prompto reply you with a thumbs up.

"Hey your highness, what do you know about love anyway," Nyx chuckled. "Have you even had your first kiss?"

"Of course!" Noctis replied immediately.

"Ehhh!!" You yelled a lot louder than you should have as you slammed both of your hands on the table.

"Ah... I mean...umm... I didn't expect you to had your first kiss..." you forced a laugh as you removed your hands from the table.

"It was in third grade..." Noctis spoke.

"THIRD GRADE?! ISN'T THAT TOO SOON!" You yelled again as you stood upright.

"Ah... I mean...umm...please continue..." you mentally punched yourself. Nyx stared at you thinking if your crazy or on drugs. You couldn't help but feel jealous to whoever the girl was.

"On our field trip to the chocobo farm, there was a baby chocobo that came up to me as I kneeled down to pet it but the baby gave me a kiss on the lips..." Noctis explained.

"So you haven't done it with an actual human?" You asked.

"Nope..." Noctis replied which made you sigh in relief.

"HA! Your such a baby," Nyx laughed but then the young prince snapped his head towards Nyx.

"Don't underestimate me..." Noctis snapped as he grabbed your wrist, he pulled you forward as he placed his lips onto yours. Everyone 'ooh'ed as they witnessed the scene. You were taken back at the sudden action but as you processed everything that was going on you quickly pushed Noctis away.

"What are you doung?! That was my first kiss!" You yelled getting flustered.

"Eh?" His blue crystal looking eyes widened in surprise.

"But... you seemed to have kissed someone before..." Noctis reasoned as he blushes.

"No! I have never even had a boyfriend before!" You yelled but you couldn't help but feel happy.

"So I was your first... that makes me happy..." Noctis smiled and your cheeks started to burn. 'It was also Noctis's first...'

"I'm...happy t-too," you stuttered and Noctis pulled you into a hug.

"I'll take responsibility for stealing your first kiss," he whispered into your ear as he kissed you again.
