(A/N) I hope you remember that mini series of Sacrifice...here's the continuation.

The lights were glowing the gorgeous city of water, Altissia. Everyone was enjoying their night, going to the stadium watching a monster competition, and having a few glasses to celebrating with their time off. You and Luna stayed at the palace of the city as the two of you were exhausted from all the walking. You settle yourself in your bedroom alone while you sit on the desk writing a letter. It has been several days since you and Luna arrived at Altissia from Insomnia. It was tough but you two accomplished to make it through.

You stayed up for awhile now, not knowing that it was midnight. You were too occupied and concentrated on writing this important message that Luna asked you to write. It was for Noctis, letting him know that you are safe and alive from the battle against Niflhiem and the Kingsglaive. You and Luna wanted to surprise him but everything got even way more complicated than it already is.

The empire knew the two of you escaped from the Crown City and they're on their way to Altissia. You were frightened since you were the one that caught Drautos, the general of the Kingsglaive was a member of Niflhiem as well. It terrifies you knowing that if they find you in Altissia, they'll kill you on the spot without hesitation.

"Please Noctis, be here soon," you printed the last sentence down on the paper while you spoke it to yourself. You then fold the letter and put it in the envelope.

"Umbra!" you called as he woke up from his nap and walk up to you. You smiled and put the envelope in Luna's book. You put it back on Umbra's bag around his neck, you smiled and patted him on the head. He licked your face happily as he went off to find Noctis, you breathed nervously hoping that Umbra will get to him soon.

You yawned and noticed it was nearly 1am in the morning. You got dressed into your nightgowned and crawled onto your bed. You pulled the blankets over yourself and rested your head on the soft pillow. You looked at the moon from the window, remarking how beautiful it looks at night. Shortly, you felt your eyes closing, feeling sleepy.

"Goodnight Noctis," you whispered softly of your beloved name. As you drifted off to sleep, you were dreaming of him of having a future you hope it'll come true.

Goodnight Noctis...

Noctis fluttered his eyes opened having a blurry eyesight for a second until he heard a voice in his slumber. He stretched and stood up from the bed. He placed his palm on his forehead sensing a slight headache.

"That voice..." he muttered, "It's so familiar." He scanned around the room and saw his friends still resting. He checked the alarm clock and it was only 6 am in the morning, Noctis tried to go back to sleep but for some reason he couldn't. He took this opportunity to explore around Lestallum on his own. He quietly the bed and dress into his casual clothes. He wrote a note to his friends so they won't freak out about him being missing.

Noctis went outside of the hotel and notice that there weren't so many people on the streets since it was too early in the morning. He walked down the streets and stopped at the sightseeing area. He sat down on the bench and watched the sky.

As he gazed the sky, all he could think of is you and hoping you're doing well. It's been difficult for him, being away from you is destroying him. He wanted you to be in his arms again and cuddle with you forever. He sighed sadly, he misses you like crazy. During his journey, he couldn't even focus on any battles that he and his friends fought.
