50. Rescue

You were in a very pitch black room for some reason. You couldn't remember what happened. You were in the train with the guys but then everything went black and you woke up in a very dark room. You noticed that you're chained to the wall.

"What the hell?" You said as you struggled to break loose the chains but it was useless. As you gave up on struggling you heard a voice from the side.

"(Y/N)..." you recognize the vice and immediately turned your head.

"Prompto!?" You called as you saw many cuts and bruises on him.

"Oh my god! Are you alright?!" You asked as you were in shock to see him like this. He raised his head weakly as he looked at you.

"Yah I'm fine..." he told you but he winced in pain. You have him a worry look and knowing you can't help him since you were chained up.

"Do you know what happened?" You ask as Prompto nodded.

"Well Ardyn took us and brought us in here while we were unconscious," he explained but you were still unsure of what really happened but all you could think about is Noctis to come and rescue you both.

'Please Noctis...hurry up and save us...' you begged in your mind as you gazed to the floor, all weak from not having any food or water.

Hours Later

Noctis was separated from Gladio and Ignis. He couldn't summon any of his swords as goblins were chasing him. He ran upstairs and closed the door behind as he felt exhausted. He crouched down to breath probably when he took out the ring.

At first he hesitated to wear but he had no choice since his swords weren't coming at all. He slowly puts on the ring when he felt the power within it. He yelled in agony when he fully put it on.

"Don't worry (Y/N), Prompto...I'm coming," he said as he search around the whole building in Gralea. He was interrupted by many goblins but he used the death magic from the ring to eliminate them. He grunts in pain as his arm was burning from using the ring too much.

He searched and searched for you and Prompto but he still hasn't found you two yet. Throughout his search he heard Ardyn's voice in PA system.

"Hurry I think your little girlfriend and your blond friend are loosing air by now.." he chuckled.

"Bastard." He said and quickly checked door by door to find you two. He wasn't going to give up until you two are found and safe.

He arrived in this huge room filled with a huge daemon patrolling the gates. Noctis stealth around the daemon hoping he wouldn't be notice from the giant. Noctis successfully sneak away from the giant without being seen as he took the elevator which took the top of the factory. He soon got out of the elevator when a rogue majetik appeared out of nowhere as it grabbed Noctis's collar. Noctis jumped at first from the sudden appearance but the robots soon fell as it lay to the floor dead.

"God I hate these.." he said to himself but as soon he was about to walk, he suddenly saw you down the hall.

"(Y/N)!" He called you but you simply walked away. Noctis ran to you but you suddenly disappeared. He walked down the halls as he saw you again going up the stairs.

"(Y/N) wait!" He called you again and rushed to where you went off but he suddenly faced off a rogue majetik. He tried to use the ring magic and it took awhile to killed it off. As he finished dealing with the robot he went to find you.

"Oh I wonder how your girl can take the torture in the room ahead," Ardyn spoke as he chuckled.

Noctis hurried to the room and as he opened it, he saw you laying on the floor all bruised up. Noctis tried to open the gate but it was locked. He found a short cut to get in. As soon as he was about to hold you close to him, just a blink of an eye it wasn't you who was lying on the floor. It was a destroy majetik.

Noctis was in disbelief, "Ardyn you son of a bitch!"

Ardyn laughed hysterically, "You should have seen your face. Don't worry the next room I'm sure their both in there, hopefully alive." Noctis gritted his teeth as he was getting frustrated with Ardyn.

'Please guys... stay strong I'm coming." Noctis mentally said as he continues his search.

You couldn't take this anymore you were feeling weak. Prompto has been trying to tell you to not give up. But it was hard for you to keep your energy up but you didn't know how long you didn't eat or drink.

"(Y/N) just hold on ok.." Prompto said but he knew that you were closing your eyes. You tried not to think about food and drink cause it will make it worse for yourself. You started to think that there's no hope anymore and Noctis is not gonna come.

"(Y/N)! Prompto!" You both heard Noctis's voice. You raised your head to the front and your eyes widen to see Noctis, Ignis and Gladio. Noctis broke open the door as he released you from being chained. Gladio released Prompto as well as he helped up.

"(Y/N) I'm so sorry I couldn't find you sooner.." Noctis whispered as he held you close to him on the floor.

You smiled as you flick his nose, "I'm just glad you're here..."

He leaned down and kisses your lips. Even though you were weak, you couldn't help but to wrap your arms around his neck and deepen the kiss. Noctis soon make his attention towards Prompto.

"Are you ok?" He asked and Prompto nodded. Noctis sighed in relief as he comfort his best friend by hugging him. Soon Noctis carried you in a bridal style as all you make your way out of this creepy building.

"Thanks for saving us.." you whispered to Noctis.

"No problem, I'll do anything to protect the people I love." He replied as he kisses your head lightly.
