46. Fishing

"Noctis where are you taking me?" You asked as Noctis was dragging you somewhere that you have no idea where.

He chuckled, "We are going fishing."

"Huh?!" You raised an eyebrow in confusion when you two arrived at the fishing spot at Galdin Quay. Noctis bought some bait that could attract the fishes. Noctis took your hand as he dragged you closer to the sea.

"Noctis I really don't know how to fish," you told him and he looked at as he gave you a peck kiss on the nose.

"I'll teach you," he said and you pouted a bit but agreed. He summoned his fishing rod and put a small looking chocobo bait on the tip. He gave you the rod as he stood behind you.

You sort of blushed a bit from his touch. He noticed your blush as he got a bit closer which made you have goosebumps.

"Ok now just toss the line in the middle over there," he ordered as he pointed the direction. You nodded and gulped a bit as you did what you were told.

"Good now just twist this a little but not to fast. You need to get the fishes interest on the bait," he told you wrapping his arms around your waist.

"Ok..." you said totally focused on fishing when you didn't noticed Noctis being all flirty towards you.

5 minutes later, you felt a pull and you gasped in surprise, "I caught one!" Noctis chuckled as you started to reel in.

"Ok take it slow and make sure you don't pull the string too much or it will snap," he said and you nodded as you moved the rod left to right and carefully not to break the string or letting the fish away.

"Hey! Noctis!" Prompto called from behind. Noctis turned as he waved to his best friends. The three friends walked towards you two but you were still focusing on the fish.

"Oh I see (Y/N) is fishing..." Gladio said.

"Did you force her to do it instead of you?" Prompto said, jokingly.

Noctis scoffed and shakes his head, "No, I wanted to teach her that's all."His three friends laughed when they suddenly stopped as their jaws opened.

Noctis was very confused, "Whats wrong with you guys?"

"Noctis look what I caught!" You screamed out of excitement. Noctis turned around and his jaw immediately dropped. You caught one of the biggest fish in Galdin Quay in history, the Murk Grouper.

"What? How?" Prompto was shocked that he was out of words. You tilted your head in confusion towards the boys as they were acting really strange.

"What?" You asked when Noctis put his hand over his heart spot. As he smiled having imaginary sparkles all over his head and in his eyes.

"Fishing wife!!" Noctis blushed with a smile.

"Oh my god!!" Prompto and Gladio said at the same time.

"Good heavens..." Ignis added as he pushed his glasses still can't believe what he saw.

You giggled as you carried the big fish to the camp. You walked passed the boys feeling proud of yourself, "Come on Ignis cook this for dinner tonight," you said.

"Certainly.." he clears his throat as he started to walk back to camp as well.

"You know Noct, you are one lucky man," Gladio smirked, nudging his stomach and walked back to camp.

Noctis chuckled, "I know..."

"Hey maybe I can take pictures of her and post it on my blog," Prompto said with a cheerful expression.

"Uhh no you won't!" Noctis added giving him a glare. Prompto laughed nervously as he jogged away from his scary friend.

Noctis started to walk back to camp but stopped for a minute, "How the hell did she do that? I've tried to catch that damn fish but it never showed up!" He huffed a bit and made it back to camp.

"I did pretty good!" You cheered.

"Yeah...I have to ask how did you catch it?" Noctis asked and you giggled.

"It's a secret.." you whispered kissing him on the lips and walked away from him to clean up.

"(Y/N)! Come on! Tell me!" He begged and you simply skipped away from him not telling him anything.
