2 weeks later...

You were doing some chores in your house since your parents would come home late at night and also trying to get something out of your mind. For the past 2 weeks, Noctis has been acting weird and out of distant lately. You hardly see him anymore and it starting to make you worry. You tried calling him but he never answered so you tried on calling Prompto and the others.

Surprisling Prompto was the first to answer your call, "Hello Prompto?"

"O-oh h-ey (Y/N) whats u-up?" You were getting suspicious towards him, he never gets shy to answer your phone calls, something is up and you needed to know what it is.

"Is Noctis with you by any chance?" you asked and you could hear his nervous laugh through the phone.

"Uhh....he...is...he is with Gladio in the training room you know the soon to be king has to be fit right haha," he nervously said and you stayed quiet.

Soon to be king? You repeated those words in your mind, Is Noctis becoming king? What happened to his father? Did he pass away?

Many question popped in your head and you were getting even more worried for Noctis. "Prompto what do you mean by 'soon to be king'" and that's when you heard him gulped from the phone. Something bad is going to happen you could feel it in your guts, you waited until he spoke again.

"You have hear it from Noctis, he is going to come by later today and please don't take this the hard way bye." Before you could answer he hanged up the phone. You whole body felt numb and feel sick in your stomach. You feared of what is going to happen when Noctis gets to your house.

Third person POV

Ignis was driving Noctis to (Y/N) house and he is very nervous. He was quiet throughout the whole ride, not even saying a word. Only to hear his shaking breathing as he stared outside looking at the moon and stars. He wasn't ready to do this but he has no choice since his wedding day is in 1 month. Ignis kept an eye on him for some quite some time as he drives. Ignis knew this is gonna be the hardest thing that he ever had to in his life. Losing the only person he loved so much, the person who make him smile, happy and be a normal person around, all that precious memories between him and (Y/N) will soon fade away once he marries Lunafreya.

"Noct," Ignis said breaking the silence. Noctis hummed still not taking his eyes away from the window. "I know this is hard and I can't blame you for feeling this way but at least (Y/N) doesn't have to go through all this trouble." Noctis didn't replied and Ignis sighed as he continues driving. As they were almost there, Noctis heart began to feel more nervous than before. Ignis parked the car and turned off the engine. He turned to look at Noctis and seeing him all hurt and broken.

"Take your time I'll be here in the car alright." Ignis said softly and Noctis nodded as he got out of the car. Every step he walked and getting close to (Y/N) door is making him feel sick in the stomach. He reached to her door and hesitantly knock on the door. No answer he tried again and then the door opened.

"Oh hey Noctis," (Y/N) said with a sweet smile that Noctis love seeing every time he sees you. Noctis entered her house not even making eye contact or giving a kiss. It made (Y/N) confused but she soon brushed it off as she closed the door. Noctis sat down on the couch having both his hands clenched together as he looked down.

(Y/N) saw his action and sat down beside him. She placed her hand on his as she lay her head on his shoulder.

"Noct what's wrong and where were you these pass 2 weeks? I was getting worried about you," she spoke and just then Noctis broke free the comfort. He stood up feeling stress and afraid.

"(Y/N) I'm sorry... but we need....we....," Noctis whispered that last part and can't even finish what he's going to say. (Y/N) stood up as she walked towards him and tried to hug him but Noctis wouldn't let her.

"Ok what the hell is wrong you lately!" She said in slight anger as she cross her arms firmly. " if there's something bothering you than let me help you and we-"

"We need to break up."

The room was silence only hearing the sound of the wind from outside. Noctis's heart was pounding as it broke into million of pieces.

"W-what w-why!!??" (Y/N) choked trying to make sure if this is a dream or a joke. But unfortunately this is real, "Noctis! What do you mean we should break up? Things are going great for this past 2 years together and now you just wanted end it!!" Noctis stayed quiet while his bangs covered his eyes.

"Noct-"

"I'm getting married!"

(Y/N) took a minute of realization that he is telling the truth. She felt tears coming, her body was starting to get hot as she was trembling. Noctis saw a tear slid down her cheeks and it broke his heart even more. He tried to hug her but she smacked him hard. He stood still on the same position but he quickly faced (Y/N) as his right cheek was red.

"(Y/N) I-" he was cut off.

"Get out!" She yelled.

"B-but-" he tries to speak but he was cut off again.

"I said get out go be with your future queen and never speak to me again! I never want to see you again!" She yelled as her tears dropped like waterfalls and ran upstairs to her room and lock herself in.

Noctis couldn't believe what just happen but deep down he knew this would happened. He sighed shakily as he took one last look to where you ran off and left. He walked to the car where Ignis was standing waiting for him. As soon he was about to ask how it go, Noctis burst out of crying into Ignis chest. Ignis was in total shock seeing the prince in total distraught.

"S-she...l-left m-me Ignis...f-for g-good," he shakily said as he cried more.

"It's ok come on let's go home just calm down...p-please," he asked and Noctis nodded as they both went into the car and drove back home.

"Hey honey!! I'm back, dad has to work late tonight but I get to be home early." your mother said as she put McDonald's bag on the table and took her coat off.

"(Y/N)!" she called as she went upstairs to your bedroom. When she opened your door, she saw you curled up as ball on the floor as you cried. Your mother immediately hugged you.

"Sweetheart what's wrong?" Your mother said getting very worried.

"M-mom...Noctis and I are over... he's getting married and he broke up with me!" You choked as you cry on your mother shoulder. Your mother hugged you tightly and tried to comfort you as you cried and cried and cried. You were hoping what Prompto told you during the phone call was just a joke but it became real.
