25. Ghost

You were home alone, your parents went out to get some dinner but they're gonna be home late cause of traffic. You thought it was a good idea to watch a scary movie at this time of night. You grabbed the grudge movie and put it in the DVD player. You jumped on your couch with your blanket and pressed play.

"Ok you can do this (Y/N) there's nothing to be scared." You told yourself as the movie started.

20 minutes of the movie passed and you were already under your covers. You keep on peeking with one eye if something's gonna happened but of course the movie is trying to play tricks on you thinking that there's something gonna appear.

"Oh god why did I think watching a scary movie at night is a good idea?!" You told yourself as you hit your head for being stupid. But then you heard something from upstairs. You quickly got off the couch as you paused the movie so you could hear it better. It was quiet until you heard something fall from the kitchen.

You swallowed in fear as you quietly walk to the kitchen to see if someone's in there. But so far so good there was nobody only to see a plastic cup on the floor.

"Hm probably the wind knock it down..." you picked up the cup and put it in the sink. But something caught your eyes from the corner of your eyes.

Your heart rate rose, your skin getting paler by the second and you were already sweating. When you took a closer look, things got worse. What you saw from the distance were a moving figure of somewhat a shadow. You were already frantically searching on the wall where the switch may be so you could turn the lights on but before you even got into it, your legs were shaking and fell to the floor.

Noctis was coming over to your house cause he misses you. When he heard a loud thud inside your house. He quickly opened the door and ran inside. He turned on the lights and went his way to the source of the thud, he saw you, sitting on the floor, your legs was close to your chest while you covered you face between them. Noctis immediately hurried over to your side as he levelled himself to you.

"Hey! What's wrong, (Y/N)?" He asked genuinely concerned but instead of a reply, your shaky arms reached out to him, pulling him into a tight hug.

"...I-i thought I-I saw a g-ghost..." you cried, trembling at the thought and Noctis realized the cause of this when he saw the tv on and the grudge image was paused.

"Shh...stop crying. It's alright, I'm here now." He whispered reassuring you and after a while he pulled you away for a bit so he could kiss you on your forehead.

"...thanks..." your shaking subsided and after the gentle kiss, Noctis pressed his forehead against yours.

"You know, you shouldn't have watched the movie at night," Noctis chuckled as he lovingly touched both sides of your face.

"...s-shut up..." you whispered, pouting along the way.

"Anyways... there's no such things as ghosts so there's no need to be scared of them," he spoke.

"But I swear I saw something moved! I think it was a ghost!" You protested.

"It was probably the wind," Noctis replied.

"Even so! How could you not be scared of ghosts?!" You asked.

"Never saw one so I never believe in them," he reasoned and you were about to argue back, suddenly the windows rattled loudly. By instinct you immediately hid behind Noctis, gripping both of his arms, already shrieking.

Noctis laughed out loud, his hands engulfed by his hair while his own legs gave up and he ended up falling next to where you were seated.

"Hey! Stop laughing! Ugh... I hate ghosts!" You pouted.

"Hm really? I actually quite like them," Noctis smiled as he watched you amusingly cling onto him tightly as if he was your life line.

"Your so weird..." you mumbled but when you watched Noctis chuckling, you ended up laughing with him.

You two went upstairs to your room but Noctis quickly pushed you to the wall and kissed you hungrily. You moaned as you smiled between the kiss.

"Sorry I just love kissing you like this.." he smirked as he picked you up and carried you to the bed. You two continued to kiss as you completely forgot about the supposedly ghost incident that happened a few minutes ago.
