33. Hero

You were walking back and forth in your room trying to think of something. You recently found a weak small kitten in an alley way all alone, scared and hungry. You couldn't help it but feel bad for the small kitten. You took the kitten home and tried to take care of it. Your mother went out to buy some food and a nice warm bed for the kitten.

You tried to feed him with the food your mother bought but he won't take it.

"Come on little guy...please eat it," you begged but he won't take it. You're afraid that this little guy won't survive the next day. You felt your eyes getting watery, you couldn't help yourself by being emotional.

"How's the kitten?" You heard your mother from behind.

"Not good he won't eat," you said as you caressed his fur. You mother sighed as she sat beside you looking at the weak kitten.

"Honey I know you want to save him but we don't have the money to bring him to the veterinarian," You couldn't help but have tears falling and your mother soon hugged you for comfort. Just then, the door bell rang and your brother was the only one downstairs.

He went to open the door and saw Noctis, he scoffed as he tried to close the door on him but Noctis pushed the door away and walked in.

"Yah nice to see you too, is your sister here?" He asked as he took his jacket off and hanged on the hanger. Your brother pointed upstairs as he went back to the couch and play his games. Noctis went upstairs to your room and saw you on the floor laying your head on the bed.

"(Y/N)?" He called and as soon you turned around he saw your tears. He immediately ran up to you and hugged you tightly. You buried your face deep into his neck.

"What's wrong? Who made you cry? I swear I'll end the persons life for hurting you," he said in such anger but you shake your head.

"No no...no one made me cry," you told him and he sighed in relief.

"But why are you crying?" He asked. He wiped your tears away and you showed him the kitten on your bed. His eyes widened, seeing the kittens conditions.

"I really want to save him but we don't have that kind of money to help him..." you explained and feeling your chest tighten from the pain. Noctis wrap his arms around you as he hugged you tightly. You let tears fall out and Noctis rubbed your back trying to calm you down.

He wanted to make you happy again and help you. He let go of you as he gently took the kitten and wrap a blanket around him. You raised an eyebrow on why he is taking the kitten.

"Noct? What are you doing?" You asked.

"Get your jacket and come with me," he said and you didn't ask him why as you grab your jacket and put it on. You and Noctis walked downstairs and went out the door. You both went into his car as he lays the kitten on his laps, you sat on the passenger seat and Noctis started the car.

Few minutes later you two arrived at the veteran store. You were surprised that he brought you here. Noctis carefully took the kitten close to his chest and both of you walked in.

"Hello your highness what brings you here?" Said a veterinarian at the front desk.

"My girlfriend found this kitten and it's very weak can you please check on him," he said and you stare at him seeing him so desperate to help the kitten. You couldn't help but feel special and happy that he is helping this cute fella.

The doctor nodded as he took the kitten and examined it. After a few searches he called one of the nurse to bring the kitten at the back.

"You two stay out here we'll do everything we can to help this fella," the doctor said as he went into the room where the kitten is gonna be examined.

You sat down on the couch as you tapped your foot repeatedly. You couldn't help but feel worried that there might be something wrong with the kitten. Noctis notice your expression he leaned down in front of you as he holds your hand.

"(Y/N)...it's gonna be ok," he said so kindly that it makes you have a little hope. You smiled from his kindness as you leaned down and peck his lips. He smiled as he kissed you more when you both heard the door open.

The doctor came with the kitten on his hands. You look at the kitten and he looks so healthy. His eyes are open showing his blue eyes. You felt relieved and happy, you carefully took the kitten into your arms. The kitten poured as he wiggles his tail.

"Thank you so much," you told the doctor as he nodded and said his goodbye.

You and Noctis went outside and looked at the kitten. He meows so softly and won't let go of your shirt.

"Omg he so adorable!!" You squealed as you felt his soft fur on your cheek. Noctis looked at you seeing how happy you are and how your smiled came back. He hated seeing you cry and sad it hurts him too much.

"Thank you so much for doing this, I promise I'll pay you back.." you said but Noctis immediately declined it as he wrap an arm around you.

"Seeing you smile and happy is enough to pay back," he said and you blushed. The kitten licked his cheek and yours as well. You two entered the car and started to drive home.

"What should you name him?" Noctis asked. You thought for awhile and tried to think of a good name.

"His name will be... Cloud,"

(A/N) hehe yup I name the cat Cloud. Hope you like this chapter it actually took my mind off of everything that happened. I'm been doing well thanks to all of your support and kindness. I love you all and I've been thinking of a nicknames for you all cause I feel weirded out when I call you 'guys'.
