"Look out!" Luna yelled as you and her ran to an injured King Regis while Nyx fights General Glauca. You gently grab his arm and Luna grabbed the other, trying to make him stand. He struggles but he stood up and the three of you quickly walked to the elevator. Nyx teleported to different side trying to hit Glauca but he caught the dagger and made Nyx fall down.

"Quickly through here!" Regis said as he shoots lightning to General Glauca. He flew back to the walls as Nyx teleported to the elevator with you, Luna and Regis. Nyx was catching his breath, you noticed his hand was badly injured. You ripped a piece of your dress and gently rapped it around his hand.

"This leads to a hidden passageway. Follow it. Once you are away, make for Altissia, Noctis awaits you there (Y/N)," Regis said and it made you and Luna surprised.

"Your Majesty?" Luna questioned.

"You knew this would happen?" Nyx added to the conversation.

Regis nodded, "Yes. But it was the only way to draw their wrath from Noctis." The king explained as you finished wrapping the cloth on his head. When Nyx spoke again but he was quite disappointed and also mad.

"Is that the way of our King? Sacrifice Lucian son, to save his own?" Nyx said with a hint of anger.

"To save the world." Luna added and made Nyx stay quiet. Regis turned back to face Nyx once again.

"See Luna and (Y/N) safely to Altissia." Regis asked and Nyx didn't answer, only huffed a bit. Regis noticed his little attitude, "This is not an order from a king to his Glaive. This is a plea from one man to another. Please, Nyx Ultric, keep them both safe. For the future of all." He pleased.

Nyx sighed heavily, "The future?" He looked at his king when a big thump noise came from the top of the elevator. Regis took off the Lucii ring and gave it to you.

"Here. Take this. It is time to passed to another's keeping," he said breathing shakily and you took it but your eyes grew sadness. Once the door opened all three of you hurried to the exit. You hold Regis's hand and Luna's hold yours while he struggled to walk with his walking stick. But he let go of your hand as he stand in the centre of the room. You looked at him with confusion and fear.

He gave you a gentle smile as he raised his uninjured hand and glowed crystal around you, Luna and Nyx.

You took a second of realizing he's is trapping you in, "No! Please don't do this!" You tried to run to him but the crystal was already blocking you.

"I know how much Noctis loved you (Y/N). More than his own life, all those tears you and my son shed because of me and Luna... all those years captive because I failed you... I failed you both...Not again. Locked doors will seal your fates no longer." he said softly as you felt Luna holding your arm tightly.

"King Regis please..." Luna said as she shakes her head of his words.

"Our hopes goes with you now, Nyx Ultric. Godspeed." Nyx couldn't say anything knowing that this might be the last time he'll see the king. Nyx pulled you and Luna back to the exit when the elevator door broke as General Glauca came. Regis turned as he faced him, throwing his walking stick to the side. The General bowed and immediately starting to attack the king. But Regis shoots lightning from his injured hand and sends Glauca flying to the wall. He grunts as he got up and about to attack again when Regis shoots lightning. Glauca blocked it with his sword.
