Dear cast, crew, and creators of Carmilla: I cannot possibly thank you enough for what you've done. You took a story that was a mainstay when I was young and scared of my own feelings and turned it into something actually FOR me. For all sapphic women. For every 15-year-old who's ever wondered if she's allowed to have epic romance and a happy ending. You made LeFanu turn in his grave and I love that. Your tireless work and unwavering dedication have created something amazing: hope. And connections, friendships, and the ability to see ourselves in fiction that much more. You let Laura and Carmilla just be in love for the first time in their 140-year lives, and that's huge. You listened to us fans, interacted with us and helped us make the fandom great, and that's even huger. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you, thank you.
