Sometimes I wish I could meet the cast of Carmilla and thank them personally. Then I realize that it wouldn't be that simple, it's not that easy to put into words what they mean to me.
As Natasha said recently "we are desperate for representation" and the show offers literally anything a person could ask for. Sexuality is treated in an exemplary, adequate and soft way. I say "soft" because it's just as simple as that. It is what it is and it warms my heart to watch these characters going on adventures and fully accept who they are, their quirkiness and their uniqueness. And it's not just about that. It's not just about the show and the amazing and brilliant work these actors do. It's about their beings, a bunch of dork and fresh people who honestly brighten me up when it comes to interviews, panels, their statements on social medias. Each one of them is so unique, open-minded, educated and it's a pleasure to hear them talk about the show, the lgbt+ community, how this series connected so many people. I'm proud to say that I'm a huge fan of them just as much as the characters they play. We accept the cast we think we deserve (book reference right here!) and I wouldn't ask for anyone else. You're all so special, thank you for bringing quality content on the crazy world of the Internet and for displaying your true colours. It means so much to me and to all of us out there.Marta, Italy.
