Dedicated to SannahWrites
Life is a path we all must walk,
Full of twists and turns and branches,
A path within the forest of earth,
Our mother that nurtures and cares for us,We walk down our path, owned by us,
Whether by borrowed or taken time,
Our path is ours but always touched,
By the paths of other people,We cross the rivers that give us water,
And taste the fruits bared on our mother's branches,
We breathe the air she makes for us,
And bathe in the sunlight she welcomes through,We can touch the paths we see before us,
And even the ones that cannot be seen,
For within that sheltered forest of life,
Lays the paths of all the others,Our path is one that cannot be seen,
For we can walk blindly through the trees,
Driven by us or follow a light that can't be seen,
Peeking round the trunks around,That path has no length,
Nor a final destination,
No one knows where it ends,
We must give the life back we received,
Return it to the earth who once gave,
Leaving our path behind,
A mark upon the earth for anyone to see.
