Swept storm clouds blown from above,
Swirl in an angry alliance,
Bound together by hard-hitting rain,
As electrifying stabs of lightening crackle through,
Starlight smothered by dark wisps,
As the thunderstorm bruises the air,
Clashes of drums and ear-splitting booms,
Lead the orchestrated storm,
Moonlight suffocated by dark clouds,
As it forever fights to penetrate the storm,
Leaving the land clad in darkness,
And alone to suffer the storm,
The on going war waged all night,
Until dawn is the shining saviour,
Sunlight swept across the sky,
Scattering the storm and healing the air.
