Sleep little baby, don't you cry,
Mummy will sing you a lullaby,
About the world before and now,
The why, the when, the who and how,
About the sky, the earth and sea,
And how the animals came to be,
The changes from past to present and future,
The story of love between daddy and her,
About the stars that shine every night,
And the sun and the moon who give eternal light,
For the world is big you'll learn to see,
And holds everything from the elephant to the bumblebee,
Watch, remember and hold on tight,
Remember the sounds, smells and sights,
You smile as you hush your cry,
Because you're listening to the lullaby.
