I am strong and can take it all,
Though you try to hurt me and break down my wall,
It will not yield to the likes of you,
Because I can be stubborn when I want to,
You will not break my will and determination,
I will not turn another way hasten,
By your insecurities that cause you to lash out,
So bring on the next battle, the next bout,
You think my silence is a weakness?
You think I keep my head down in bleakness?
You can not imagine the fire deep within,
But my temper, my anger, is my greatest sin,
And I will not awaken it for your pleasure,
It is for me to keep and distribute in measure,
But you are not worth the effort to raise my voice,
My smile and silence is my choice,
The only reaction you'll get from me,
Is a smile as sweet as can be,
So do your worst to break me down,
I will not even crinkle a frown,
Because I am strong and can take it all,
I will rise after ever single fall.
