Chapter 9

Robin's POV

    After sex....

    Barney and I lie jumbled up side by side, panting for breath. Not the bad kind of panting, but rather panting out of pleasure. I'm pretty sure that was the most passionate sex we've had since the day we got back together. God that felt good. Now I'm not a sex addict, but when I do get to have it, it's a beautiful gift.  Barney grins at me as drool slips down my mouth. "I take it I pleased you." I knee him. "Shut up." "I take that as a yes." I kiss peck on the lips and he blushes. He doesn't do it often, but it's adorable when he does.

     "Robin, we should probably get some rest. Work is going to hit us both full force tomorrow now that we're back." I sigh. "Yeah you're probably right, but not quite tired yet. I think I'm going to call Lily in the living room. She's been texting me nonstop saying she needs to have a girl talk. I'll come to bed in a little while." He sighs and falls into sleep soon after his head hits the pillow. When he's asleep, I head into the living room and call Lily. 

      "Hey Lily. What's been going on? You sound like you have some news. I can't tell whether or not it's good news or bad news." She squeals through the phone. "It's good news. I got a raise in my salary." "That's awesome Lily! Congrats!" "Thank you Robin. How's everything with you?" "Things are good. Barney just fell asleep but I'm not tired yet so that's why I decided to call you." "Well I'm sorry to cut this short Robin but I actually have to go. I have some lesson plans to finish up before bed. I'll see you soon though. Bye." "Bye Lily. Have a good night." "Thanks Robin you too." I hang up the phone and reluctantly head to bed seeing as I have nothing else to do for the night.
