POV: Catie
The sound of my alarm going off startled me awake. It's high pitch and obnoxiously loud.
I groan as I swung my feet to the side of my bed. The chills of the cold floor traveling throughout my veins at the slightest touch.
"Catie, breakfast!" My mother's yell rung my ears. It's too early for yelling.
"In a sec!" I shouted back even though I winced at the loudness of my own voice.
"Catie! Catie! Catie!"
"Oh boy." I mumbled to myself as my little brother ran into my room jumping up and down like a puppy seeing a new toy.
"Catie your first game is today!" Carson said excitedly. I chuckled while I messed up his brown hair, the color much similar to mine.
"Go eat breakfast, I will be down in a minute." I said with a convincing smile, grinning as he walks out and runs down the stairs.
I groaned as I walked to my closet to snag a t-shirt and a pair of Adidas soccer pants. My hands clutched onto the first two pieces of fabric I saw and slid them on. I didn't care if it matched; not a single shit is given when it comes to clothes.
I jog down the stairs after throwing my hair up in a very messy bun and taking care of other hygiene necessities.
"Bye love you!" My mom shouted as I grabbed my keys and walked out the door with a pice of toast in between my teeth. My feet carried me through the freshly cut grass over to my car.
I pulled out of my driveway in the opposite direction of my school so I can get breakfast, the main reason being my want to kill time before heading to living hell which is also called school, but I like my name better. It's more suiting.

When I walked into Mr. Parker's class I got the warm welcome as every morning, but he changes it up sometimes because he's so creative.
"Glad you could join us Miss Cano." Mr Parker spat in a sarcastic tone.
"Asshole," I muttered under my breath causing the nearby students to choke back their laughter.
"What was that Miss Cano?" He said while glaring at me with his arms crossed. His glasses slightly sliding down his nose.
"Nothing," I responded with a smart ass smile and took a sip of my smoothie before plopping into my uncomfortable, plastic seat and listened to the god awful hour and a half lecture before the bell saved me from dying of boredom.
"Catie!" A familiar voice shouted from down the hall as I quickly shut my locker, pretending like I didn't hear her.
I groaned as I quickly put my ear buds in and turning the volume on full blast. A hand clutched onto my shoulder which caused me to roll my eyes before I yanked one earbud out and swung around to face whoever touched me.
"What?" I shouted in an annoyed tone.
"You ready for the game?" One of my fellow teammates asked me. She is one of my main hook ups so I should be nice to her, but oh well. I honestly don't give a shit.
"Sure," I shrugged and turned back around to keep walking which caused me to arrive at my next class on time which shocked the teacher and the students.
I've only got five more hours of bullshit though. Then I get to be happy on my softball field.
