POV: Catie

"Girls! Time to get up! You have a game!" My mom shouted from across the house.

"Ugh" I groan as I dramatically put my hand on my forehead.

"You're so lazy." Ally giggles.

"You just woke up too."

"I've been up for awhile."

I groan one more time before the both of us get up to get ready. We take a shower together again because it's great to save water.

----------------------------------------------

"Strike one!" I look at the ump, giving him a glare. That was not a strike.

"Strike two!" He is leaning for them. He has to be. That means I need to swing right now.

I swung my bat as hard as I could, Ally already on base from a walk. I flip my bat as I watch it soar over the fence. I gave it wings.

My team met me outside the dugout, give me high fives as I walk back into the dugout. Once I took my helmet off, I sat on the bucket near the entrance, Ally sitting on my lap. She leaned back and kissed my cheek.

"Good hit." She whispers in my ear, purposely breathing hot air while saying it, causing me to get goosebumps.

I kissed her neck once quickly and said thank you. Causing her to blush. I wrap my arms around her and rest my chin on her shoulder as we watch the game. The next couple outs are made after we scored two more times, putting us ahead of them by six. I already had my shin guards on so I just slipped the rest on before running out onto the field with Ally right behind me.

-------

It's the ninth inning, it's our last chance to win. We're down by two, Ally is on second and another girl named Taylor is on third. Two outs, if I get walked, the girl behind me is an easy out. I have to get a hit. I have to. I need to give this ball wings.

The pitcher winds up and pitches, she nearly hit my stomach but I quickly dodged it. I can not get walked. She threw two more balls, I need to swing at the next. She pitches, the ball goes right on the outside corner. My favorite spot. The ball soared, it could've been mistaken as a plane if it wasn't yellow. I watched it go into the younger girl's park that is a good ten feet on the other side of the outfield fence. I jogged around the bases, knowing that I just hit a walk off three run home run. The adrenaline is pulsing through my veins. I meet my team, returning the high fives as I take off my helmet so I can kiss Ally that is waiting at the end of the line, but as I took another step towards her, someone grabs my jersey from the back of the collar and yanks me backwards.

As I fly back I see Ally's face go from worry, to shock, to anger. I hit the ground hard, knocking the air out of my lungs. As I roll over, trying to get the air back in me, I look up to see the pitcher from the other team, she looks so familiar. Ally immediately tackles her to get her away from me. Coach pulling her off of the familiar pitcher before anyone gets in trouble.

"I loved you!" The pitcher screams at me as I hold my chest in pain.

"What are you talking about?!" Ally yells at her, coach doing his best to restrain her from running at her again. She almost slipped his grip since she is so small.

"I loved her, we had sex all the time last year. I loved her! I still love her!" The pitcher screamed. I started to put her face together with memories and it all flooded back info my mind.

"I...never...loved...you." I said in between gasps as I get to my feet.

"What are you two talking about?" Ally said in a hurt and questioning tone.

"Last year we had sex quite often, and I did tell you before that I did that a lot before. She's just one of them. I never loved her. I never loved anyone in that way until I met you." I said honestly.

"I believe you, this bitch on the other hand." Ally gestured to the girl with her free hand that isn't being restrained. "Has no right to talk to what's mine. She is mine. She loves me. She only loves me. Yeah, she didn't make the best decisions a year ago but she's better now..." she looked at me and smiled. I walked over to her and told coach to let go of her and that I can handle her. "I love her, she loves me. I hate you, and so does she." I chuckled at her rhyme.

"She doesn't hate me! She can't hate me! I love her and she loves me back! I know it!" She screamed, causing me to smirk. I quickly pulled Ally into a kiss as I flipped her off without looking. I pulled away after a few seconds.

"I will never love you." I said as I walked behind Ally and wrapped my arms around her. Pulling her to my chest.

She was burning with anger and bolted at Ally, my Ally. I swiftly stepped in front of Ally, and carefully but quickly pushed her further behind me. I punched her in the face, she practically ran into it. She immediately fell and held her nose. As she cried, Ally and I walked hand and hand back to the dugout so we can pack up our things.

I look over at Ally as I threw my catcher's helmet in my bag, and see a look of sadness on her face, so I dropped what I was doing and walked over to her. Lifting her face up with my hand.

"What can I do?" I looked at her with pleading eyes.

"It just kills me inside to know that people think of you like that. They think of you as a ruthless, uncaring, insensitive, cold, and as a whore. When to me...you're my world..." She looked up at me, nearly crying. I pulled her into a hug, nestling my head in her shoulder.

"I love you." My muffled voice barely audible.

"I love you too." She whispered back.

I pulled away, and before I continued packing up my stuff I made sure she wasn't crying.

As we walked out of the dugout, I held her hand tightly. We walked over to our moms and hugged them before they left.

"I love you." I said while putting my stuff in the bed of my Jeep.

"I love you too." She quietly replied, still on the brink of tears. I grab her bag from her and put it in the back of my truck before pulling her into a kiss. I feel a tear on my cheek. I put my hands underneath her thighs, picking her up and walking her over to the drivers side door. I opened it, not once breaking the kiss. I sit in the seat, her sitting on my lap as I close the door. She breaks the kiss and cups my face.

"I'm sorry I'm so emotional..." She said while looking at at lap. Her hands falling to my shoulders. I lift her chin up with my fingers so I can look her in the eyes.

"I love you, every single part of you. All of your imperfections are perfections in my eyes. I love you. I can't express how much I love you. I'm not good with words. Just look at my English grade."

She giggled.

"I love you... a lot. I can't even explain how much I love you. I would say something by Shakespeare but he made up words too."

She giggled again.

I looked her in the eyes, cupping her cheeks with my hands. I pulled her back into a passionate kiss. I may not be able to say how much I love her, but I sure as hell can show her. I trail my left hand down her shirt then pull it out of her waistband and run my hand underneath it. Thank god it's dark outside. Coach wants us there four hours before the game.

I'm snapped out of my thoughts when she bites my lip. Asking for entrance. I obviously granted it. I run my hand under her bra, kneading them, causing her to moan into my mouth. I feel her hands go into my waistband and run her hands around it, tracing my bare skin with the waistband as a guide. She fiddles with my softball belt, attempting to get it off. I pull away.

"Are you sure you want to do this in the front seat of my car. I mean I have no problem with it, but I don't want to do anything you're not comfortable with."

"That's another thing I love about you."

"What is?"

"You are so careful, understanding, and loving"

I smiled and quickly kissed her lips really quick before lifting her up off of my lap and into the passenger seat.

I really do love her.
