Once I got home with Carson I instantly walked upstairs throwing my stuff down and wrap my hands. I throw punches left, right, right, left uppercut, right uppercut, round house kick, right jab. Why was I so pissed? Was it because I was scared of relationships? No. Was it because she pissed me off? No. It was because I was scared of her finding out 'me'. I knew I was vulnerable around her. I know that because of me getting butterflies every time I see her. After about thirty minutes of nonstop punching and kicking I went in my backyard, turning up my stereo sliding my hat on. I take off my jacket and dance away.
Hours pass as I look at my phone to see eleven missed calls from Ally and thirty one texts from her.
"Why do you care?" I muttered to myself.
"I already told you that I have crush on you." I was startled by the hand on my shoulder and flipped her over my shoulder, not thinking before I did, luckily my platform was padded.
"Fuck Catie!" She shouted while holding her ass.
"You can't sneak up on me like that. I go into defense mode."
"Why?"
"I don't tell people about myself."
"Well you should, that is probably why you are so tense." Ally winced as she got to her feet.
"I'm tense because I don't like people." I spoke in a sharp tone.
"Why is that?"
I glared at her. "You know what my answer will be."
Ally shrugged her shoulders and took a step towards me.
"Oh and how did you turn the music off?" I asked curiously.
She dangled a remote in my face and I try to snatch it but she was quicker than me.
"Ally, I can't talk now, I need to cool off."
"You have been 'cooling off' for the past four hours."
"Oh, well still not done, so turn my music back on."
"After you answer one question."
I didn't like the sound of this.
"Why are you mad, because apparently you are pissed considering that you still have boxing tape on your hands and sweat dripping everywhere." She said while glancing at my abs.
I rolled my eyes and walked towards the door. She ran up to me and caught my wrist.
"Catie please, don't go, I will turn the music back on. I just wanted to know why."
"Don't worry about me, I'm not worth it." I pulled my arm out of her grasp and she pinned me against the wall.
"Your strong for being short." I said with a smirk.
"I'm a pitcher, my arms are supposed to be strong. But please listen to me, why are you scared of me?"
"I'm not scared of you."
"Your eyes tell a different story."
I then look down so the bill of my hat covers my eyes.
"Catie, look at me."
"No," I said in a defensive tone.
