I see the men knock on the door as I made my back towards her house. The door opens and the three men rush in.
My legs carried me as quickly as they could to her house, and I hear her scream as I entered through the front door that was still wide open. I grabbed the hidden knife out of my wallet and got ready to swing. Following her screams I see them pinning her up against the wall. Trying to get her clothes off, I stab one of them in the back. He fell to the floor in pain and I had my knife ready to swing again. I repeated the last words I heard from my father in my head, swing away. I swung first slicing the guy's face. He growled. He grabbed the gun out of his waistband and held it to my head.
"Hey now, easy." I put my hands up ready for my next move that my dad taught me. I pushed his wrist with the gun in his hand and grabbed the gun with my other hand. In a split second the tables turned. I shot him in the shoulder, purposely not killing him, I wasn't done with him. I was then stopped in my tracks when the other guy held a gun to her head.
"You move, she dies." He growled.
I think about what to do next, thinking about everything my dad has ever taught me.
"Drop the gun." I started to slowly put the gun down, but shot him in the foot then the shin. The most painful bone to break. She rushed over to me and hugged me.
"T-thank y-you." I smiled back at her and pushed her behind me once the guy I stabbed in the back got back up. Shit, why did I drop the gun.
"Get against the wall." We both move. "No just you." He pointed at me with his gun, I gulped. He grabbed the near by chair and threw it at me. I caught it. "Sit in it."
'Shit' I mumbled to myself. I sat in the chair and the dip shit turned his back to me. I pummeled him to the ground, catcher style. I flipped him so I could see the pain in his eyes that I was about to cause. I punched him left right left right. Till the police finally got there pulling me off of him.
"We are going to tell the court that you did that to protect yourself, not because you were enraged." I nodded at the police officer. "But hands down, great ass kicking." I smiled and looked over at Ally who had been shaken up by the incident. I walked to her grabbing a blanket on the way and stepped behind her. Rapping my arms around her from behind, warming her up.
"Why are you cold?" I whispered in her shoulder as I held her tight.
"I get like this when I have panic attacks." She whispered.
"Well guess who is staying at my house till someone's is fixed." She turned around instantly and hugged me back causing me to tense up temporarily.
"You saved me back there, and you still keep helping."
"I don't do this much, if that tells you something." I leaned back so I could see her face that was buried in my chest.
"How can I thank you?"
"By stopping yourself from crying, it hurts me."
"Why do you do this when you don't want to be in a relationship?" I froze from her question.
"One question a week, remember?" She nodded then burrowed herself back into my chest.
Leo soon pulled up in my car and once he got out I could see him frowning, almost crying. I open the back seat door and help her in due to my Jeep having a lift kit. I slid in right beside her.
"It's my fault." Leo said, he may not say much, but when her does, it's either guilt, love, or talking to a teacher.
"Leo, if you didn't drag me here, Ally would not be Ally right now. So, thank you."
He smiled a little and drove off. He pulled into my driveway and got out opening the door for me.
"Ally, can you walk? I'm asking because when I have panic attacks I can't for the next two hours." She shook her head no and then looked away from me. I pulled her out, still having the blanket wrapped around her, Leo opens the door for me and I was almost tackled by my mother when she hugged both Ally and I.
"Jesus I thought the police were gonna tell me you died, but I guess your fathers training did pay off." My mom smiled. "You go take care of her and I will make some lunch." I nodded as I walked up the stairs Leo following me close behind.
Once we got go my room Leo pulled the blankets back while I held her close so could I lay her in my bed.
"Go to sleep Ally, okay?" She nodded in response and rolled over.
I stepped out of the door and Leo nudged me. He had that devious smirk on his face.
"Really Leo? After all that happened you're wanting me to do that still?" I whisper yelled at him.
He nodded before pointing at the door telling me to go back in.
"No Leo." I muttered quietly.
"She needs you."
"Quite the talkative one today?" I said sarcastically.
He rolled his eyes before pushing me towards the door.
My hand wrapped around the handle and I twisted it slowly, not wanting to startle her, before opening it but kept it twisted so it wouldn't make as much noise when I closed it.
I walked over to the chair near the bed and closed my eyes before hearing her voice. "Catie, will you... h-old me?"
"Yeah," I said in a low and calm tone as I got into bed carefully beside her and pulled her to my chest gently, not wanting to trigger her. She smiled as she buried her head in my chest and I wrapped my arms around her. My hands ran through her hair till she fell asleep, and not too much later Leo cracked the door open a little with a food tray in his hand and I put a finger over my lips so he would be quiet.
All he could do was smirk when he saw me holding her.
