POV: Ally

"You're whipped." Mike teased as I watched Catie play with the bonfire. Mike came with us because the coach wanted some more help monitoring twelve teenage girls, but he also didn't want someone who would restrict everything.

"I am not." I slapped his arm in a playful manner.

"Yes you are." He said as he sat on the sand beside me. "You haven't looked at anything other than her the whole time you've been here."

I looked over at him to see if he was still teasing or not, but he had a straight face on. "I did look at the ocean and fire." I defended myself and he just shook his head with a smile.

"You looked at it when Catie was in front of it."

"Yeah, well. I can look at what's mine. Can't I?"

"Yeah, I'm not judging. I'm just pointing out that you're whipped over the girl that is about to burn herself in the fire." Mike pointed to Catie to see her jumping over the fire since she was dared. The fire was about three feet high mind you.

"Catie! Knock it off you idiot!" I scolded her and she froze dead in her tracks.

"It's safe to say that she's whipped too." Mike added.

I just stayed quiet with a smile on my face as I watched Catie grab three sodas from the cooler before walking towards Mike and I.

"Thanks," Mike thanked Catie, but she playfully scoffed.

"Who said these were yours? They are mine. All three." Catie said with a smirk before tossing Mike one and handing me one.

I watched her walk behind me and sit on the sand before scooting close to me so she could pull me to her chest.

"Coach was playing in the fire too." Catie whined as she watched others play in the fire.

I can tell that she wants to go play with the fire more, but that faded when a girl messed up and got her shirt on fire so Coach picked her up and threw her in the ocean.

"Never mind," Catie chuckled while Mike and I lost our shit.

Luckily we changed into clothes we don't care for, because we may or may not go into the water. I'm not going in because sharks like to come up into the shallow water at night. I ain't about to get bit by no shark.

"You should go swim." Mike said beside us before taking another sip of his drink.

"I ain't about to get bit by no shark." I repeated my thoughts out loud.

"Oh chill, your coach has a net surrounding the acre in front of his house. It's his part of the water since it's a private beach, so you don't have to worry about sharks." Mike said before standing and offering me a hand.

"There might be a hole in the net." I nervously glared at him as I put my drink in the sand, making a makeshift cup holder.

I heard Catie do the same thing before nodding at Mike from behind me.

I tried to get up and run, but Catie pulled me to her chest before I could run and ran with me over her shoulder into the water with Mike laughing behind us.

"Catie! The water is cold!" I hissed when my feet came into contact with the water. She still had me over her shoulder and Catie and Mike thought it was great while I'm freezing.

"It's not that cold. Just brisk." Catie said back. "Who wants to have a chicken fight?!" Catie yelled to the rest of our team that was huddled around the bonfire.

The moonlight and porch lights were making the water just bright enough to do some games in.

"Maddy, get on my shoulders!" Faith, the first basemen, called to Maddy, the centerfielder, as she ran to the water. Maddy was hot on her heels.

I ship those two. All the way. Maddy is small and fragile while Faith is tall and built. Not as built and tall as Catie, but still kinda tall. Maddy is shy and collected until Faith comes around and is the extreme extrovert. I ship them, and everyone else does too.

Catie positioned me on her shoulders and tightened her grip around my legs.

Maddy quickly climbed up Faith onto her shoulders and Mike and Coach counted down till we could WWE smackdown each other.

Maddy immediately pushed me out of the gate, but Catie didn't let go of me and used her strong ass core muscles to pull me back up without letting go.

"What the hell? How?" Maddy squealed as I got stable and then grabbed Maddy's arm and Catie quickly walked backwards.

Faith tried to do what Catie did, but in the different direction. She failed miserably as Maddy fell into the water.

"Damnit," Faith groaned as she pulled Maddy up and pulled her to her chest since Maddy was now shivering.

Totally shipped. My ship has set sail.

"Who wants to get their ass kicked next?" Catie asked and no one said a word.

"Babe, they're a little scared of you." I whispered to her and she chuckled as I giggled.

Catie picked me up and threw me a bit so she could catch me.

"Holy shit! That's cold!" I squealed and Catie and Mike chuckled, but Catie pulled me to her chest to keep me warm. I was then quiet.

"Catie, when you catch on fire like Delilah did I am not gonna take you to the hospital." I warned Catie as she started to fiddle with the wood that was on fire.

"I'm trying to put it out!" She defended herself.

"Then get the hose that is literally ten feet away." I pointed to the hose that was attached to Coach's beach house.

"That's not the fun way..." Catie whined and Mike chuckled.

"Come on Ally, live a little." Mike teased.

"She was just in the hospital!" I yelled at Mike and he shrugged.

"Oh shit," Catie muttered before running to the water and my heart dropped.

I got up and bolted to her side but she was chuckling. "What?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"I pranked you to see if you would flip out or yell 'I told you so.'" Catie laughed and I slapped her arm.

"Not cool!" I yelled and Mike put the fire out with the hose.

"Time to go back to the house!" Mike yelled to us so Catie grabbed my hand and walked with me back up the beach.

"You are sleeping on the floor tonight." I muttered to Catie.

"That would be punishing yourself though." Catie smirked at me.

"I don't care." I stared in a 'matter of a fact' tone.

"I'll give it ten minuets of me sleeping on the floor till you ask me to come hold you."

"Yeah yeah yeah." I sighed at her ego.

"You love me." She smiled at me.

"That I do." I smiled back and she kissed my forehead before opening the car door for me.
