I leaned my head against the cold, scratchy surface of the bus window. I put on my headphones and closed my eyes. I'm exhausted from a long day of work and I prepare myself for tonight's nightmare.
Suddenly, I hear a voice saying, "Excuse me." I open my eyes and looked up to see a young woman looking down at me.
I suddenly notice how deep her e/c eyes were. Like you could get in lost in them for hours. I also noticed how warm and genuine her smile is. I can feel a smile stretching across my own face.
I instantly recognize this feeling and snap myself back to reality. I answered back as rudely as I can "What do you want?"
"Do you mind if I sit here?"
Taken aback by her oblivion to my rudeness, I started to stutter, "U-uh... sure. I-I don't mind..."
She smiled widely. "Awesome! Thanks!" She sat down and my heart accidently skips a beat.
