Zane dropped me off at my house. He reached out to hug me goodbye as we've always done but after our last hug on the way here, I felt like I needed... a little more. A bit more than just a hug from him.
I'm glad I'm still conscious when I had this feeling, or I would've done something stupid.
So instead of letting us hug, I high-fived his hand that was held up to reach out to me. It was kind of awkward, but it seemed okay to him. He told me to make sure that I get some rest and left.
Once he left, I took deep breaths to calm my racing heart, then pulled out my phone to call Aphmau.
Ring Ring. . .

Y/N: Hello? Aphmau?
Aph: Y/N? Hey! Is everything alright? I... saw you guys outside.
Y/N: Everything's... fine. Don't worry.
Aph: Are you sure? Do you want to talk about it?
Y/N: Aph. . .
Aph: Come on! I can tell something went wrong.
Y/N: Nothing's wrong. It's just... I think I really need your help on relationships now.
Aph: Gasp! Really? Oh gurl, now you gotta tell me what happened.
Y/N: *blush* Tch, it's kinda complicated. . .
Aph: Yea yea yea, you guys are biffles, but you like him, and maybe he likes you, and you just don't know, right?
Y/N: Huh?
Aph: I understand, Y/N. I've been there. I can give you advice if you need it. Just tell me what happened. You don't have to get too personal if you're not comfortable.
Y/N: Alright, um... So I managed to escape the house, but not without Zane seeing. When he got me from your house, he wasn't exactly thrilled. I was scared and confused, but it turns out he was just looking out for me. He knew that I was... "sick" and... a little bit hungover -- t-that doesn't matter right now...
Y/N: ...Anyway, we sorta had an argument, and I got upset. Zane apologized and then we made up. I couldn't tell him that he was the reason I ran out of the house, but he was still understanding. I just... I don't know what he even thinks about me, and I think it's better if we are just friends. It's too complicated.
Aph: . . .
Y/N: Aph?
Aph: Oh! Sorry, I'm just... I can't really say anything about this.
Y/N: What? Then what do I do?
Aph: You just let things happen.
Y/N: ... what does that mean?
(A/N: Warning! The following contains relationship advice that is definitely not reliable. I've never gone into a relationship before, but I am a romantic. I'll probably die alone LOL ;u;)
Aph: Don't take my word for it, but I really think he feels the same about you as you are him.
Aph: Now, don't say that he's looking out for you because he might think that you're like his little sister or something. Just keep spending time with each other and don't freak out so much. Relax, and let everything unfold itself.
Y/N: A-Are you sure??
Aph: I'm positive! This whole situation will end better if you don't force the solution. I know in most cases you don't get what you want if you don't do anything about it but in relationships, it's better to stay friends for now. When the time is right, both of you will know what you want from each other.
Aph: Do you get what I'm saying? I think I'm just rambling nonsense...
Y/N: No. I get it. I'll... try to do that. Thanks, Aph. I have to go now.
Aph: Anytime. See ya~
