Oh, Irene, where on earth is she?? I wander aimlessly around the street, desperately looking the sick and hungover girl. If I hadn't been frozen in shock after Y/N's outburst to sprint out the door, I would have gotten a glimpse of where she had gone.

I pull out my phone and call the only other contact than my mother: Garroth. Hopefully, he has at least seen or has an idea of where she had gone.

~~~
Garroth: Hello? Baby brother?
Zane: Garroth? Have you seen Y/N?
Garroth: Uhh, no... Why what happened?
Zane: She just ran out of her house, and I don't see her anywhere...
Garroth: Is she okay?
Zane: She's sick and hungover. She shouldn't have gone and run out like that.
Garroth: Wow, Zane... You've never been this caring about anyone before. Is there something going on between you two?
Zane: Huh?! What do you know??
Garroth: Nothing before, but now I know there is definitely something up.
Zane: Hold on, there is NOTHING going on between us. We're just friends. I don't understand why you messed with my head like that.
Garroth: Sure... I'll believe that when Aphmau and Aaron hate each other, and you know how they are.
Zane: Whatever. We're never having this conversation again. I need to find Y/N. Bye.
~~~

I hang up the phone and walk out of Y/N's house, closing the door behind me. Where could she have gone? I try for Aphmau's house.

I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. Aphmau answers.

"Zane? What are you doing here?" Her eyebrow was raised, and she had a strange smile on her face. What's up with her?

"...I'm looking for Y/N. Is she here?"

"Whyyy, in faaact..." She turned her head back and up towards the stairs and called out, "Y/N! Zane's hereee~" She turned back to me and said, "She is!"

We both looked towards the stairs to see Y/N walking down the stairs. I smile and blush, then frown, feeling happy to see her face again and infuriated with the fact that she ran off in her poor condition.

Her expression seemed to be an effect of mine because she looked extremely sheepish. She blushed as well and kept her eyes lowered.

"Hey, Zane." She said as she reached the door.

"Hey yourself," I said, trying to suppress the angry tone in my voice. "I need to talk to you in private."

"U-uh, yeah... Let's go." Y/N said. She turned to hug Aphmau goodbye and waved to the other girls that came to visit Aphmau.

We started to walk away from Aphmau's and waited until the door was closed. Then I stopped and wheeled towards Y/N.

"Are you alright?! Mentally?!"

She flinched, looked at me, then at the ground. "Zane, I --"

"What you did was... What was that? Y/N, you're sick, hungover, and Irene knows what else. And you were under my care. Why couldn't you trust me instead of a friend that doesn't even know what is exactly going on in your head?"

"Zane, you don't even know what is going on in my head!"

"Then what was?"

"I--" She stopped. She was shaking again. Her fists were clenched, and little tears fell onto the pale sidewalk. Oh, Irene. I think I pushed her too far.

I lifted my arms and pulled her into another one of my hugs. Her tears soaked my hoodie, and she squeezed me so tightly, but I don't care. I made her cry.

"It's alright. Don't tell me everything if you're not comfortable. I'm so sorry for pushing you to confess." I want to help her be okay again, just like when she helped me. I'll do anything.

"I-I'm s-sorry I can't t-tell you... A-and I'm sorry I-I ran off like t-that..." She stuttered, trying to speak through her hiccups and sobs.

"No, no, don't apologize. Please. It's okay now. What's important right now is that you need your rest. Let's get you home."

"Mm."

~~~
Hope you enjoyed this chapter. Does Y/N seem a bit more sensitive than usual? (that was my thought when writing this and I didn't want Y/N to seem babyish, I guess)
I wished I would graduate from school earlier (I graduate June 14). I'm moving to an independent high school (it's not part of the same district), so it would start earlier than other high schools, and that means that I would have a short summer -.-
If you're still in school, when do you graduate? I'm just about mentally done with school now...
