4.5 magnitude earthquake in California, Record heat in Texas, Bomb threats in Ohio, Plans for rebuilding the Statue of Liberty, no fatalities confirmed.
Been there, seen that. The thing is once you've seen a lot of bad things you become immune to it, unaffected. The uprise In violence is what I've gotten used to over the years. So I boringly flip through the news hoping something actually interesting comes on, even though that's highly unlikely.
Breaking News: ISIS makes partnership with country of North Korea

"North Korea has formed a national alliance with the terrorist group, ISIS, Almost all nations are on high alert for fear that ISIS may have access to nuclear warfare.

Seriously!? First they destroy the Statue of Liberty and this? Do they even have the power to do that any way? If they have any more conflict against the Middle East, America, or North Korea were going to have another world war.
I turn off the TV in disgust and march my way up to Aislings room.

"Uff!"

I am knocked to the ground by my tall looming figure that stands over me. The figure lets out a noise of annoyance and pushs his way forward, away from me. Of course it was him, my step father. Disgusted, I picked myself and glared at his backside. There's no way I'd actually do that do his face. I wonder if he finally got fired from his job yet, hopefully not. I try to ignore him most the time when he's not passed out drunk. Once his dark brown hair disappeared at the end of the hallway I continued on to my sisters room.
I try to keep Aisling away from all the bad stuff, she's to innocent for that. Especially with her sickness getting worse I don't want anything to worry her. My mother eventually caught wind of her illness but didn't take her anywhere because of her fear of doctors. Even if we did see someone we wouldn't be able to afford it.
I enter slowly so I don't wake her if she's sleeping. She sleeps a lot nowadays.

"Hey Ashy how ya doin?"

I try to kept my voice soft and gentle as a feign a smile. Her eyes open slowly and she manages to smile a little. Her eyes are the dullest they have ever been and now I'm certain they've been losing color. She's been confined to her bed all day and I fear that she'll just get worse. And the continuing nightmares are just the cherry on top with added stress for her.

"Are the people in Callie okay?" Her voice was hoarse and weak. Her face was as pale as a ghost.

"Ashy what are talking about?"

"The earthquake"

4.5 magnitude earthquake in California.

"Ashy, how did hear about that?"

I don't think you can hear the TV from here.

"The dreams, they tell me everything"

"The nightmares, is that what you're talking about Ashy?"

"Yes"

"What do you see in the dreams?"

"Everything from the very corners of the Earth"

"Tell me more"

Her eyes squint closed, her face was twisted in pain.

"What's wrong Ashy?"

"Three is coming"

"Who's three?, you need to tell me this stuff Aisling"

"The light is back"
Her eyes popped open and stared in wonder at whatever was behind me.

"What are you-"

I turn my head around and there it was. The ball of light that I had seen in woods was back. Only it was larger this time about the size of a basketball. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. It was so heavenly and ethereal. My fingertips were drawn to its surface, only inches away.
