Klaus and I sat at the bar making plans on what to do with the hunter who was now chained up in his mansion. I had to make sure to avoid all Klaus's advances in an attempt to take me back. As we sat there, Rebekah entered the grill where Rebekah sat down at the counter where Matthew was working and placed keys down on the countertop.

"What's that?" He asked with a clear disdain.

"Keys to your new truck. It's paid for in full and even insured" She said smiling brightly at him. The poor girl was absolutely clueless.

"Yeah, I don't need your apology. Maybe give one to Elena, she's the one that died" Matthew told her as he walked away. Klaus snickered at the encounter and made Rebekah aware of our presence—one that she as clearly unhappy about.

"You're trying too hard" he said still smirking.

"Oh shut up you" I said hitting Klaus on the arm. "And it's the opposite. You aren't trying hard enough; he's not going to take you back because you buy him lavish gifts."

"I see you've gone back to him Fiore. I thought you'd sealed the deal with the Gilbert boy when you didn't come back home. I obviously thought wrong" She scoffed, she was trying to hurt but Klaus, but he was smarter than that.

"Jealous because of your failed attempts to bribe the help?" Klaus teased.

"What are you even doing here Nik? I thought you were leaving town." She said glaring at her brother, finally understanding that the battle between the two of them would end in her defeat.

"Discussing the reason I'm actually with him." I said ensuring there was no doubt that Niklaus and I had patched things up.

"Lighten up dear sister" Klaus said with an impish grin on his face.

"I thought I was dead to you" She spat.

"Things change. I have something you'll want to hear about" He told her.

"Probably not"

"The Brotherhood of the Five is back Bex" I told her knowing that Klaus would drag this on out of spite.

"What?" She asked, almost breaking her glass in astonishment.

"And like that bygones" Klaus said smirking at me. "Shall we?"

"No" she retorted. "There is no we. I don't care about the Five and I don't care about you" and with that she slammed her drink down on the counter and stormed off.

"Come on you prick. Let's go and question our hunter friend."

"So, you and the Gilbert boy?" Klaus said as we drove back to the mansion.

"What about it?"

"Nothing, just surprised that's all" he mused.

"And why is that?"

"Your playthings tend to all be common tropes of bad boys" He said smirking.

"Well maybe I want a golden boy for a change." I told him as we pulled up to the house. "You gonna open the door then?" I asked him as I stood in front of the door.

"I hope he's everything you want and more" He said suddenly appearing next to me and caressing my cheek.

"What do you care?" I mumbled, weak at the knees due to his touch.

"Anything that makes you happy, makes me happy. I want the best for you Blossom, even if that isn't me" Klaus was still gently moving his fingers up and down my face and had he continued, I would've let him whisk me away because that was how much I loved him. That was how much I wanted him to change. "Shall we?" He said opening the door and ushering me in.
