"Jeremy, you're half an hour late? Where the hell are you? Your girlfriend's here and she looks kinda murder-y." Matt spoke under his breath, as if I wouldn't hear him.
"Just get here before I really get murder-y" I said snatching the phone from him.
Matt went back to cleaning tables when a pretty girl with dark brown hair and stunning blue eyes walked in.
"Um Matt?" I was very glad she wasn't there for Jeremy.
"Oh hey April, we're not open yet" Matt said walking up to her.
"Yeah, I know, it's just that—you and Rebekah are a thing, right?" She asked all flustered. The only thing better than her behaviour was the look on Matthew's face.
"We are NOT a thing" He said quickly.
"Not yet anyway" I muttered, trying to stifle my laughter. Matt threw a washcloth at me, but I caught it with ease, even Mr quarterback was no match for my vamp reflexes.
"Look April, if it's about Rebekah, you're better off asking her roomie" Matt pointed April in my direction and went back to cleaning up the grill.
"Hiya love, I'm the aforementioned roomie. Direct all Rebekah inquiries at me" I said smiling at her.
"Well, it's just uh have you seen her recently?" She mumbled.
"Don't worry love, I don't bite all that much. As for Rebekah, I wouldn't be worried, she tends to go on benders every now and then, she'll be fine" I said swivelling back on my stool. "More rum please Matthew."
"Well the thing is, she said she'd help me find out what happened to my dad and then she just up and disappeared so—"
"Hold the rum." I sighed as I got off the stool and walked towards to April. "If she promised to help you with something, she wouldn't leave. Which means something has happened to her. And that I have to make a phone call. Don't worry April, I'll find her." I said squeezing her cheek. "I like that Bex has another friend. Means there's still hope for her human life." I walked out of the grill but not before making sure a message got sent across. "Tell Jeremy that next time I see him he's a dead man".
I picked up the phone and called the one person that without a doubt knew where she was. Probably because he was the one that boxed her up.
"Hello Blossom, are you already bored of baby Gilbert? Because I'm all yours" my husband said as he answered the phone.
"What the hell have you done to Rebekah?" I asked him. More like demanded.
"She's here with me, don't worry about it." He lied so easily it would be worrying if it was anyone except Klaus.
"Put her on the phone then" I said calling his bluff.
"She's out. She does like to keep herself busy, especially in her favourite country in the whole wide world"
"Which is?"
"Italy of course. Losing some sister points there. Is that all?"
"I know you're lying Klaus. Where is she?" By now I was already driving to his mansion to look for Rebekah who was more likely than not laying in a box.
"I told you"
"No you lied, is what you did. I bet you know something about Jeremy's whereabouts too"
"Jeremy?" Klaus scoffed. "Must you always think the worst of me Blossom?"
"Give me a reason not to. I'm at the mansion, I'm going to search every square inch until I find where you're keeping my sister."
