I remember nothing. I don't know where I am and I don't know where I lived. The only thing I remembered is my name. Elsa.
I am lost, just wondering around this strange place without knowing what to do, I felt useless and depressed. I am starving for I didn't eat for almost a few days already. I don't know anyone and I don't know where to stay for the night. I am distant and people seems disgusted to see me with worn out ripped ball dress and stinky smell. I am begging for alms to provide myself something to eat and a warm blanket for the cold night. I am nor bothered by the cold though being weak and affected by the cold gusting wind that is hitting my face while I lay on the cold cobblestone street is not a good way of enjoying the winter.
People walking around in a strange fashion of clothes looked at me weirdly. I don't know why and I don't have the interest to know. Try don't know much about me anyway. Why would I let them judge me by my clothes? They all looked weird anyway. It was snow storming but I am not affected by it. I feel like I am escaping from something but I don't know why.
Why am I here anyway? How did I get in this place? All this questions lurked in my mind as I hug myself from the cold surroundings. I am hiding in a dumpster, waiting until this storm stopped. I hate it but I have to endure it if I want to live and to survive in this strange place. I don't want to die.I waited until it was over. I went out and walked around the town again when I stopped in front of a huge old building with grand stairs in front for you to enter.
I slowly walked up the slippery steps of the stairs, careful not to slide down and broke some bones before I face the huge oak doors.
It was too intimidating to come in so I decided to sit at the back of a huge statue of a terrifying snowman and hope that it would be enough to protect me.It was hours of waiting for nothing until I saw the door opens and reveals an old man looking outside. He seems to be oblivious by my presence until he turned around and saw me hiding.
His green eyes looked at me straight into my soul and examined me."Are you lost, child?" He asked.
I nodded. I don't have much strength to speak. I felt like I was frozen.
He gave me a kind smile before offering his shaking hand for me. I stood up and gave him a weak smile."Are you mute child?" He asked again.
I shook my head.
He nodded. "What is your name?"
"My name is Elsa." I answered as loud as I could.
"Much of a coincidence." He muttered. "Where are you from?"
"I don't know." I sighed. "I don't remember anything."
He smiled. "You can live with me, Elsa. My name is Edmund. Edmund Winters."
"It's so nice of you to letting me stay in your humble home." I said.
He laughed. "If you consider living in a Museum as a house. Then yes, this is my humble home."
We walked inside the building and different portraits are hanged on the wall. They looked like royalties.
"Welcome child, to the Arendelle Museum. This museum held the pictures and portraits of the royal family of Arendelle." He said.
I frowned. "Am I in Arendelle?"
Edmund nodded. "You are in Arendelle, Elsa."
"The name seems familiar. Like something... " I mumbled though he heard it because of the eerie silence of the building that surrounds us.
"Maybe you heard it while you are staying outside, Child." He laughed. "It is around the town, bars, restaurants, casinos and hotels are having the name Arendelle."
I gasped. "Oh."
He laughed as he continued to walk going to a room that looks like a grand kitchen. He lead me to a chair on a dining room table and placed a hot soup in front of me. I can't help but to smell the aroma of the soup, I have never eaten a good food since then so I reluctantly took the spoon and begun eating, not caring if it is hot. The soup feels good in my stomach. Edmund just laughed while watching me eat and asked for another round.
He reluctantly gave me another bowl and I dig in again."How old are you, Elsa?" He asked while eating.
"I am eighteen, I guess." I answered. "I am not sure."
"That will be alright." He smiled.
I looked around the grand room. "Where is your family, Sir?"
He sighed. "I live alone. My daughter, Roberta died with her Mother, Rosita."
I gasped. "I am so sorry for your loss. I shouldn't have brought that up."
"That would be alright, Elsa." He smiled. "You can stay and live here if you want."
My eyes lighten up. "Are you quite sure about that, Sir?"
"Quite sure." He smiled. "I am unhappy living here all lone in this grand mansion. My only entertainment are the people coming here from tours and for history classes. Having some company would be delightful for an old man like me."
"I don't want to invade your privacy, Sir. But, how old are you? " I asked.
He laughed. "You are not invading anything, Elsa. I am already Eighty Years Old."
I smiled. "Wow. If you would let me, I will repay you by taking care of you Sir."
"If that so. Don't call me Sir. Call me Father instead and treat me as such and I will treat you as my own daughter like Roberta." He smiled.
I nodded. "I will Father."
He chuckled. "Then, I know that I am not going to live that long... I will give you this museum for your living. .. I don't have an heir or a family member to give this. So, I will teach you everything that need to know about the History of Arendelle."
I smiled. "I will do my best, Father."
He smiled before looking at my chest, I followed his gaze and found my snowflake necklace.
"Where did you get that, child?" He asked as his eyes widened.
I shook my head. ",I don't know. Maybe a part of my life before. I don't remember."
He nodded before taking a last glance on my necklace and cleared his throat.
"I guess, I will show you now to your room. There are dresses for you to use. Roberta is just like you. I know something would fit you." He smiled while guiding me to a grand staircase. "Well, this is the part of the museum which is an off limits because this is where I am living and the offices are also here."
I smiled as we descended upstairs until we stopped in front of a blue door. I opened it and saw a huge suite with bed, a mini-living room, library and bathroom in there.
I came in and flopped on the soft warm bed before standing up and explore the rest of the room. I opened a door and saw different kind of dresses with modern styles."Well, I guess I need to leave you for awhile. I will see you at dinner tonight." He said before he went out and closed the door behind him.
I smiled again and took a bathrobe from the closet and went to the bathroom to take a shower.
I chose a royal blue dress up to my knee and long sleeved and slip on a flats that I found in another closet.
I went to the vanity table and brushed my clean platinum blonde hair and tying it up in a bun before I went outside to meet Father. It is already seven thirty and i looked around for awhile until Edmund cleared his throat and we went to the dining room again to eat.He smiled at me.
"We will start your studies tomorrow."
