Chapter 53 - The Girl In Blue

I woke up the next morning and heard birds singing.  I jumped out of the and grabbed my things.  I started walking away from the village, but stopped short.  I felt vibrations and placed my hand on the ground.  It felt like hundreds, but it was all kind of fuzzy.  I started to run east, out of the path of the shinobi, but then they turned so that they were running directly towards me.  I turned and and started to run away from them.  "There are too many.  Maybe if there were only fifty, then I would, but not 100!"  I thought.  I continued to run, but they were faster and were gaining fast.  I stopped behind a large rock and looked around, but saw no one.  I relaxed slightly, but then stiffened when a hand was placed on my shoulder.  I pulled a kunai out of my sleeve and swung it at whoever was behind me.  I took a few stumbled steps away from them and then looked up to see that it was Gaara.  "Crap" I thought.  

"What do you think you were doing leaving the village?" He asked in his usual monotone voice.  I turned and ran away from him at a medium speed not wanting to use up any unnecessary chakra.  I quickly caught up to me looking me.  "Why did you leave the village?  Are you really an enemy spy?" He asked.  I shook my head no as I continued.  I  noticed that were by a lake and knew that we were somewhere in between the leaf and the sand.  I speed up my pace and jumped through trees and then felt presence of another person.  I stopped and looked around, scanning the area for any one.  Gaara stopped a few branches away, but other than him I couldn't see anyone.  I turned to leave, but then quickly spun around to block someone punch.  I blocked the punch and saw that they were from the Akatsuki.  They then punched me in the stomach, sending me flying into the ground creating crater.  Dust flew up into the air, creating a large dust cloud around me.  I slowly stood up, ignoring the pain.  "Stupid Akatsuki!  Your gonna pay for that!" I yelled angrily.  The man that attacked me came out from inside a tree.  I ran at him with a kunai and swung at him multiple times.  He  dodged many of them, but a few managed to him.  

He split himself into two separate people, one was white was and the other was black.  The white one came at me with a kunai in hand, while the black one started to do some hand signs.  I dodge the kunai that was being swung at me and then saw wood coming at me.  "So he can use wood release" I thought.  I took out a second kunai and attached a paper bomb to both of the kunai I had.  I threw them at both of them and it sunk in deep.  I then release chakra allowing the paper bombs to explode.  I jumped back ready if they were still alive, but to my shock the were both dead.  Their bodies had  flown in multiple directions.  I sighed with relief and sat down.  I looked over to one side and saw leaf shinobi fighting against a girl with a familiar purple, violet hair.   "I want to help her, but I can't because I'm from the sand and we are allied with the leaf" I thought as I watched their battle continue.  Gaara then jumped out of a tree and run up to me and hugged me.  I sat there shocked at what he just did.  "I thought you were going to die there.  I thought that Akatsuki was going to kill you he whispered.  I hugged him back.  "Well the obviously, you under estimated me" I said smiling.  I felt Gaara's grip loosen and him start to smile.
