Every eye that wasn't tending to the wounded was fixated on the epic brawl between the nine-tails of the hidden leaf and Pein, the only known leader of the Akatsuki. Our group quickly got to work to help with the casualties while Naruto dealt with Pein. I rushed to the make shift hospital that Sakura had organized and used some medical nin-jutsu to help more patience. The rest of the group went out to look for anyone else who needed medical attention. Soon I noticed the fight between Naruto and Pein seemed to have stopped. Sakura and a few other medical nin went down to the center of the village to see Naruto.
" I need some help over here!" I heard a medical nin call. I quickly rushed over to help her with her patient who's odds didn't look to good. While helping out I saw Deidara come in to the makeshift hospital with a small child in either arm. I quickly stabilized the patient I was treating and rushed to see Deidara. Luckily the children seemed to be fine.
"It's like a grave yard out their," Deidara said looking out the door.
"Yea, I'm surprised Naruto defeated Pein. I kinda feel sad about it though." I said passing out blankets to a few of the people with minor injured.
"Why would you feel bad about it? Pein wanted to kill you remember!" Deidara shouted.
"Shh, keep your voice down. And to answer your question the Akatsuki was like my family so its natural to be a little hurt when a family member dies!" I retorted not looking at Deidara. I suddenly felt Deidara's arms wrap around me, pulling me into his chest.
"I'm sorry flower will you forgive me?" Deidara asked in a husky tone.
"Hmmm, maybe..." I said wrapping my arms around his shoulders. Deidara lent forward and planted his lips on mine, in a quick passionate kiss.
"Will you forgive me now flower?" Deidara asked resting his head on my shoulder.
"Well how can I say no when you asked so nicely, Dei." I replied.
"If you two love birds are done here we need to get moving." Temari said bursting into the clinic with Kankuro waiting outside.
"Yea, yea, we're coming."
