Chapter 27 - The Girl In The Blue

I stood up and held the open water pouch behind my back. I walked around and stood beside him, I gave him a small smile then dumped the water on his head. I turned and ran over to another target laughing. "What was that for?" he said running after me. "For calling my training interesting" I said jumping away and still laughing. He continued to chase me, I didn't realize that I was going into a dead end, but Gaara did. I looked ahead of me again and I was in a corner. I turned back around trying to catch my breath, expecting Gaara to dump something on me in return, but instead he grabbed my wrist and smiled. I gave him a confused look. "I caught you, now follow me" he said dragging me out of the dead end. "Where are you taking me?" I asked, still out of breath. "You'll have to wait and see" he said still pulling me behind him. We ended up back at the training area. "Wait here" he said, his hair still dripping wet from the water I dumped on him. He came back with something behind his back. "Okay close your eyes" he said. I looked at for a second before deciding that I would close my eyes, but keep my guard up. I sensed something about to fall on me, so I jumped back just before the water was going to hit my head. "Why did you have to do that?" he said sounding upset. "Because I wanted to" I replied. I walked over to my stuff and picked up the rope and pouch that was now empty. " You heading back to the Kage building?" I asked. "Well I'll need to change out of this" he said looking at his outfit which was also wet. I laughed and waited for him to get over to be before leaving. We walked back to the Kage building, but took a different route so people wouldn't question why Gaara was wet. We got inside and went down the hall with the bedrooms. "See you later" I said as Gaara unlocked his door.

I continued to walk down the hall until I reached my room. I put away my weapons and went into the bathroom and had a nice hot shower. I after got dress into dark gray leggings and a black long sleeve shirt. I grabbed a book I was writing on the stars and climbed up onto the roof. It was still a bit before the sun would set so I started to write more in my book. Not too much later I felt a hand tap my shoulder and I jumped almost dropping my book. I put the bookmark in and hit Gaara with the book then set it down beside me. We watched the sunset and then looked at the stars. I laughed as Gaara tried to remember and what the constellations were called. "I getting tired,but I don't want to go yet. Today has been the most fun I've ever had" I thought. 'Well I have noticed in this past month you have smiled more than you used to, my dear' My tailed beast said. I lay back at looked up at the stars. "Should I tell him I had fun today?" I questioned myself. "Hey, I had fun today" He said looking away. "me too" I said closing my eyes. "You getting tired?" He asked. I nodded, but just stayed where I was and fell asleep.
